Appears to be the center of the food processing universe for Bunge Brazil
Ribeirão Preto (Portuguese pronunciation: [ʁibejˈɾɐ̃w ˈpɾetu], Black Brook or Black Stream) is a municipality and city in the Northeastern region of the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is nicknamed Brazilian California, because of a combination of an economy based on agrobusiness plus high technology, wealth and sunny weather all year long
Eventually the farmers’ choice revealed itself as very adequate and the fertile soil of the Ribeirão Preto region allowed the highest crop productivity in Brazil.
Due to the Pró-Álcool program, farmers from the region of Ribeirão Preto were encouraged by government subsidies to grow sugarcane. The high productivity of the land around Ribeirão Preto rapidly placed the region as the largest alcohol and sugar producer of the world, being responsible for 30 percent of Brazil’s sugarcane alcohol fuel.
Here come the low cost commodity cycle. Anyone look at the strength in the dollar lately?
I doubt metalworking fluid or encapso has has decreased 17% in same time period. Pull up 1 year chart of $sugar and $corn. Wonder if feedstock prices are still over 50% of costs per Wolfson .

Clinton will be at nameplate day one.
Moema will be at nameplate in six months.
"leap" per se.
I will worry about my trade and you worry about yours. Difference is, you have been on the inside of those plants whereas I have monitored from the outside.
Information gleaned from an open Facebook account is public information per se.
Observing activity from a city street is public information per se.
However, thank you for acknowledging that I am on the right path. You seem irritated with the mention of Predo Alfonso. May I ask why?
I think it is important to visit Clinton and have other(s) visit Clinton on my behalf to see what is going on.
I think it is important to keep tabs on an electrical contractor at the Moema site to see if they are still working a full crew, skeleton crew or if they are needed at all.
I think it is important to see if there is any talk about the next job site as that is what subs do, they talk about the next project and for some reason they brought up Pedro Afonso, a location that Bunge just so happens to have a plant.. We shall see if it has anything to do with SZYM.
The point being, today's technology allows us to have information that we did not have access to previously. Some people thrive on piecing the puzzle together. I am one of those and I do not apologize for it. It has served me well in past investments and has put me in a position to have a large number of shares with a great deal of tolerance.
We do not live in a "fair" environment. I think the 19 million shorts is a b s play and because I hae taken the extra time to "investigate" and "speculate" and "manage risk", I continue to remain confident in my position.
Fact is, I know Moema is alive and kicking and has shredded all forms of life support.
Fact is, I know that Clinton is bustling with activity and there is something big going on behind the scene that has not yet been disclosed. The 19 million shorts know this too. The biggest problem on wall street is getting enough shares of a good thing.
75 million shares is a low float stock. SZYM is a good thing. They know it and they are working overtime to get it.
I wish you well Mac954W. I hope all of your dreams come true.
Now comes bunge of Pedro Afonso
Agora vem para a bunge de pedro afonso
Bunge expanded its business by extending the planted areas at its units, and through the opening of the Pedro Afonso plant, its eighth producing sugar and bioenergy, and the company’s first greenfield plant, in Brazil.
BING translated the original message for me, no idea how it came up with "Thurnscoe"
Bunge has a plant in Pedro Afonso.
Posted to a worker who just finished the SBO job in Moema
They celebrated the end of the project and their working together.
I would be very surprised if SBO was not fully commissioned and on it's own.
We should be getting the "fully commissioned" announcement in near future. Assuming, of course, SZYM does not wait until the CC.
KQ, sent you an email.
Sugar as in corn dextrose. Nobody wants SZYM's process to work more than ADM.
U.S. Prices going to be under severe pressure. 2.00+ corn coming. That would be approx. .04 - .06 cent sugar price for SZYM's Primary feedstock in North America.
Overall, though, manufacturers are seeing the demand for high-oleic oils grow. Tillman says that frying in restaurants comprised the largest market over the last year or so, and the industry anticipates that fats containing animal fats or PHOs will continue to be replaced by high-oleic oils as well as such natural sources of solid-containing oils as palm, palm kernel and coconut oil sources; designer lipids such as Algal oils; and the next generation seed oil products.
I would only be concerned with low volume if I was wanting to buy. There is no desire to sell.

@solazyme seems to be very optimistic with its production and marketing timelines. Expects production ramp up for both Clinton/Moema in 2H14
