Ron showed his best customers to the door, they walked out, and found out that Macy's has better. Customers were comfortable just shopping at JCP, thinking that was their place to go for everything. But once they had no choice but to go elsewhere, it was like "Oh my God, why did I waste all these years shopping at JCP when I could find more and great prices down the mall at Macy's". So, why would they want to come back, they HAVE found a new home, and are shaking their heads as to why they didn't change retailers sooner. Dumb move on JCP's part - they chased away customers and we happily settled in elsewhere.

You do NOT know the mentality of a real customer...those that spent hundreds to thousands a year at JCP. You may get a some customers who cherry picks what little desirable merchandise they might find, but those that you should desire to have back on board are long gone to places like Macy's. We HAVE moved on, thanks to Ron Johnson's ruining your store. True, I check back once every 3-4 months, but nothing. Walk in Macy's and you get quality, selection and, yes, decent prices. Quit trying to fool yourself...you live in your own miserable world.
