Notha, this seems a nice deal, both for DuPont and Syngenta as well. It also shows a new novel molecule DuPont had on its pipeline. Interesting to mention that this deal seems to give supremacy to DuPont mainly in Brazil where the Ag market is booming. With this deal, DuPont, Pionner + Crop, will head to become the #1 player in the Brazilian Ag market, ahead of MON, Bayer, Syngenta and many others down there. Pioneer is at least 10 years ahead of any Corn player in Brazil and now, also playing in the Soybean market and complemented by DuPont Crop inputs will solidify even further its leading position. Again kudos to DuPont CEO and its management for continuiing to implement a deep transformation towards an Ag, Nutrition and Advanced Materials enterprise.
