My MLP investments paid 154K since june 2009 in Div. I made rental improvements with stocks then, but would have been better keeping 2 rentals I sold and put in market in 07 and 09 because real estate took off in Lubbock Tx. after holding houses 25 years I sold 2 and in 2012 -15 prices jumped.city has crazy growth along with property taxes however, to pay for city expansion. Guy at the local watering hole said "Can't wait till I am 80 and this #$%$ is over with" Best LOL line I have heard.
I sold most EPD at 30-31, I did not sell today but came home at close after looking at property all day and thought , this is insanity, no more. This is too much irrational bull s*^& to waste your time and life on. Thank God I have some $ and choices left before this sh*& took it!
Only because my cost is 8.10 from buying Duncan in 2009 at 16.20 and the split .Would have sold out higher but too much in taxes to dump in one year. I am done with market, tired of relying on
shiek taking a sH*^ and causing a global recession or what the heck Putin does, and China. Life too short to be concerned about such, and I am too old to have my retirement ruined by a boom and bust market every 7 years. I am buying more rental property locally where the economy is strong in Texas. Wish I never sold some in 2007.
