what was that whole dissertation on i get people to do what i want them to do....buy MEET....short MEET going to 0, delisting....DANG going to 5, delisting.....blah blah blah....youre an idiot.
hedge funds own this stock. they are the ones that have created insecurity in investing in it by manipulating it. Why would they want to have retailers buy at these low prices.
gain trust? you really think they want retailers to buy this stock? the net revenues are 750 million for the quarter. Even yahoo lists yoy revenue gain at 50 percent ... not the 27 percent that they keep writing for their "core business" .....
Li and Peggy have been accumulating stock.....the longer it stays low the more they buy.
its trading the same number of shares up and down.....you said it 9.78 ytd high....unless it get over 10 its just a bunch of hedge funds shuffling shares.....
its prob short term short cover from when they delayed earnings.....its got to get over ten for it to be on any long term uprise. Thats when funds will buy
no way JD buys dang. But given the all time lows in shorts and high in institutional ownership something might be in the works.
the total net revenue is 750 million and the expected was 400....and we only met expectations. pretty soon the the gmv component will be much higher than the "core"and are we supposed to just ignore that revenue in comparing companies? alibaba revenue almost all gmv
even when they gave their guidance there was no mention of the GMV. It is 40 percent of their total net revenue. all of alibaba and tmall revenue is GMV. fourth quarter next year GMV will surpass its core. when you REALLY look at it its mind boggling. 750mil quarter revenue. 2.2 billion for the year and it trades with a mkt cap of 700mil.....huh?
and if the total net revenue does include the 300 plus million from the GMV why are the estimates based on the slowest growing portion of the revenue stream.....the total revenue was 751 million for the quarter.....thats 42 percent year over year.....
they report their revenue as revenue then marketplace. BABA doesn't do that. their total revenue was 700 mil. Marketplace growing at 60 percent. The guidance is just their revenue which is growing at 30percent. marketplace growing at 60-70 percent. they are double the guidance
