My outlook IS proven. It was proven when the network numbers came out today and they sucked just like I told you. You are gambling by holding stock that lives or dies on a TV deal that you have NO CLUE about. YOU are the gambler sir!!

It's amazing you are still grandstanding about your investing acumen! Your prior results are completely irrelevant to the issues here.

Just because I've locked in some profits doesn't mean I don't hold a long term view that this stock is a train wreck waiting to happen. I wouldn't have initiated a position if I didn't believe that to begin with.

By all means, feel free to stay long while this heads lower. The proven outlook is even worse now than when this was 8 bucks per-share.

Sometimes bad companies are OVERVALUED too, and WWE is a prime example of that.

Anybody spinning a positive light on WWE network's subscription numbers is completely delusional or they are trying to mitigate losses. WWE pursued a massive advertising campaign heading into their biggest annual event, and despite their timing and effort, the numbers were a travesty. The subscription base will erode from here, I guarantee it.

Every facet of WWE is losing money right now, the TV deal will have to be fantastic just to mitigate the losses from WWE network. Pumpers here have been singing the siren song of market potential, but the those "hopes and dreams" have ALL panned out to be ugly truths.

It's almost hard to believe that you have been trading stocks for as long as you have because you are so clearly biased and will spin every fact into an attempt to validate your position.

Nero, you are exactly right on the technicals here. There is not much of a chance this will bounce for several days or weeks. This is a classic chart, and there is not fundamental catalyst for this to bounce back. The subscription numbers for WWE network were a disater.

  • The WWE network is going to lose at least $50M dollars for WWE this year. When you factor in WWE's weak balance sheet, things could get really ugly in a hurry. I think this could go back under $10 this year pretty easily. WWE network will die before it even makes it overseas.

  • The R6 earbuds are now available for sale. This should be a positive development and will probably become their "main-line" offering earbuds superseding the S4ii, which sounded great, but had a slightly marginal record for durability.

The Christmas quarter for VOXX has been the best quarter in the history of the company for the last 2 consecutive years. Book value is around $19.50 per-share, they've got several strong brands in their portfolio (Klipsch in particular), and the earnings have been good and improving.

    ANOTHER CHEAP STOCK !!!!!!!

Anybody touting this as a good start to WWE Network is living in a dream world. WWE spent tons of money advertising and brought the network online about a month before their biggest event. Things will not get better from here. International won't be available for a year, and it's probably safe to assume that a good percentage of people only got the network for Wrestlemania, and they'll cancel after their 6 months is over. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this settles with well-under 500k subscribers by the end of the year.

Based on WWE's numbers that means the network will probably be losing around $60M dollars a year domestically. When you add that on top of the losses they are already having, WWE will probably be LOSING a dollar per-share by the end of the year. The numbers are so bad it's already apparent that WWE Network will probably be cancelled before they even attempt to launch it overseas.

If you are a pumper here.... I wouldn't stay and watch this stock circle the drain.

Without a fantastic TV contract, this will be back under $10 by next year. Ashes to ashes.....

I like the fact that you mentioned that you hedged your long and that I'll make money going short. That sounds like an admission that it was luck it went this high to begin with. I think your vitriolic posts and homophobic rants are a good indication of your intelligence and character, so you can rant and rave all you want, but nobody cares about your opinions. Nobody.

Got short a couple minutes before the closing bell at $28.15. It was another small stake, but I think a bet to the downside is prudent heading into this weekend. There is always the possibility that WWE network could experience technical difficulties. That would shatter WWE networks reputation.

I'd tend to agree with avoiding this stock over summer. It's fundamentally expensive, summer is usually weak for stocks anyway, so if there is downward pressure on the stock heading in, it probably isn't going to be a winning trade.

The new restaurant opening are fairly meaningless over the summer, a few new stores aren't that big of a percentage, and the new stores they have opened recently haven't proven to add anything to the bottom line.

Not you, because you are dumb enough to try and quantify the quality of a business by the outcome of your insignificant trade and because you are long a stock with no durable competitive advantage. Over the long haul this will not be a good investment because without Vince McMahon WWE is simply a bunch of guys running around in spandex. The fact (if it is a fact) that you bought this at $12 is completely irrelevant to the outlook for WWE.

By "due diligence" do you mean having WWE spoon feed you a bunch of garbage while you believe every word? I did enough due diligence to see they LOST money last quarter, added debt, and have a shrinking fan base. You try and use numbers (that conveniently can't be posted because you are too inept to use a computer correctly) to divert attention away from the real issue, that issue is the fact that basic math will tell you there is no way the WWE network will make money after the first 6 months.

I find it laughable you call me the "I told you so" type. I called my last trade beforehand and when I covered. I maintained my view even when the position was at a loss. I just know well enough to cover when something drops 20% in a matter of days. I'm not going to make a move just because you make a dare.

BTW, don't forget that 6 months ago WWE was about $10 per share. There really isn't a plethora of new knowledge that exists now that didn't exist back then. I'm not saying that this is sure to go back to $10, but it's within the realm of possibility for this to lose some of those gains and settle in the $15-$20 range.

There is nothing going on here to justify the current price.

I think this could be an attractive short again. I enjoyed the silence from the pumpers when this pulled back almost 20% off its peak.
