zobella asked a good question. If you did see the facility, please give your impressions of it, alan.
Apple Inc shares rose 1.4 percent to end at $100.53, a closing record high for the tech bellwether when adjusted for the stock's June seven-for-one stock split.
It would be great if Murphy had a big announcement planned for tomorrow. A KOL break through or, better yet, news of production start up in "x" numbers of weeks.
But, if not tomorrow, we all know it is coming within couple months.
allan: Intelligent people can see what posters like chubbs, etc. are up to in short order. I would suspect that most of them put cubbs et al on "ignore" soon after joining the board.
That's my point. Do yourself and your blood pressure a favor, and put chubbs and others like him on "ignore" like the rest of us. New people coming to the board will see through posters like chubbs very quickly without your post-after-post warning people about him.
“One in three Australians are at risk of developing chronic kidney disease..."
Man! Isn't that way more than here? Watch what you eat/drink down under, juggsy... lol
tee: I agree with you (might hit 1.60 before 4, so keep some reserves handy). After the horrible meltdown between both PIP and SIGA which didn't have to occur (most would agree), I swore off biotech stocks of any kind. Too friggin risky!
But I ventured back into the general field last year when I was researching 3D companies (I owned DDD and SSYS for a brief period. Made some money with both.). But I still hold ONVO (Organovo) in two of my accounts. It uses 3D printers to develop tissue which mimics human tissues for research purposes. Keith Murphy has assembled a top notch crew scientists and others that are on the verge of commercialization of liver assays (will be in this half of the year) and other types of tissues (i.e. kidney, etc.). They team up with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL's) such as Hoffman La Roche and Loreal (cosmetics) to test their product. All tests are positive, to my knowledge. They have plenty of cash on hand so no dilution. One of the good guy longs is twojugglers (or juggsy) who posts informative stuff. Now, there is always shorts that spew their #$%$, and SA and MF pieces as well written by shorts to endure, but ONVO is the real deal. I don't recommend companies too often, but I feel confident in this company. Do your DD, of course. And if you feel good about ONVO, make a little investment in it. I think ONVO has a bright future, and won't be a sub-$10 company much longer. Possibly by the end of the year or certainly mid-2015. Check it out if you haven't already.
Time-of-entrance is key, tee... (I'm a friigin poet tonight!) I waited a couple days after his article came out, as I remember. Don't even want to check the actual dates, at this point. By then (as I remember), I bought in at a considerately higher price, but using his article as a starting point, and doing some DD on my own, I was convinced that HE was on the right track.
I (and many other, I'll bet) was summarily relieved of some serious coin under the mistaken belief that "this thing will surely turn around soon......" As you know, "it" never did. Until, possibly?, NOW? A light at the end of a VERY LONG TUNNEL, perhaps?
Well, tee. I bit a little this morning. Got 1k shares at a little shy of 2.14. Might add next week if things don't go to blazes in a hand basket across the Atlantic.
So, I give you fair warning. You might want to bail now that I'm in. I have a way with PIP, and it ain't pretty.
I saw the pps just before I wrote this at 2.29, then backed down to 2.18 (the regular hours closing price). Oh well... it was nice while it lasted.
Altucher can K-M-A... lost a bundle because of his stupid article! Then when the first favorable verdict came down -- what?, a couple years later -- he had the audacity to make another post along the lines that he was vindicated, although it took longer than he figured. Well, THAT was YEARS AGO (off the top of my head... tee/cash... please chime in if you wish).
I hope he was run out of the biz by now. Cleaning toilets, etc.
Thanks, tee, for your thoughts. Might take a small position in the coming days. We'll see.
Glad for you (and cash2go as well)... I'm sure the action this week has pumped up your brokerage accts a bit. GL
