I think there is some truth to that. Certainly not all the guys that post "stay long" "stay strong" "bashers are everywhere" etc. But there may be some dishonest people that have tried to keep the price up so they could sell into the buying generated by their constant "everything's going great' "any time now" "we're all going to be millionaires" messages.
They're set to roll out their liver assays sometime this month. It should be hugely profitable for them. They've got many things in their pipeline as well.
It's $6.90 now. Should at least double in 3-6 months. At least.
A good point, smoke. And, I agree with your holding off on buying more shares. I've been in the market for years. Bought PHOT which turned out to be a joke. Then I bought FITX after doing DD. Seemed OK because they supposedly had the blessing of Lakeshore and the were in the beginning stages of their buildout. Then one delay after another.
That's why I sold my shares before market close yesterday. I'll keep this on my watch list, but there are many other sectors outside the MJ biz that are much more stable to invest in. I gave the MJ biz a shot, but I'm tired of losing money in this fledging industry. GL
Exactly, smoke. Many frustrating delays and promises advanced only to be modified at a later date. I realize there are delays in some construction projects, but they should be few-and-far between instead of as frequently as this has occurred.
It's Bill's shooting-from-the-hip method of business practice and irate Lakeshore residents too that have led to the mess. Not to mention law suit implications now. Unbelievable!
I am (or was) a "real investor", jerk! You and your buddies keep believing Bill's half-truths and long-delayed PR's. Remember he held off by approx. 5 weeks about telling us that HC inspected the place. Ridiculous!
The company response could have/should have been published THIS MORNING, NOT AT 8:20-SOMETHING THIS EVENING.
Bill and company are shooting from the hip... have been for months. That's why they scheduled and cancelled two "town meetings" (Sept 23 and Oct 21). Now maybe it's partially due to push back from neighbors that they chose this rather surreptitious method of buildout, but, if that were the case, they owed us shareholders up-front, clearly-worded explanations of their dealings with the Town of Lakeshore's council and citizenry.
Yeah, I heard that statement towards the beginning (i.e. something to the effect that FITX is not covered under this), but as the meeting progressed, the council seemed to change their thinking -- even about FITX.
That's why when one lesser-ranked council member started to discuss specific zoning laws they could make, a higher-ranked council member cut him off and said they wouldn't discuss strategy due to the new FITX plant. Immediately after that, the FITX lawyer got up from the table leading me to believe that there is a better than 50-50 chance FITX will have to file a lawsuit to settle this. If so, this could go on for many months or longer.
Hopefully, when Bill gets back, they can work out a compromise. Maybe plant fast-growing hedges to hide the fence or something. If I told you I wasn't worried, I'd be lying.
Do you have a link or a written source to look at?
I increased my holdings this morning before checking the local paper for the write-up on last nights meeting. A bit hasty on my part even though I think Cen Bio's operation will be grandfathered, as your post says.
I will add more if the C-B's operation can go forward in some fashion.
marie's post: "Cen bio's name should not even come up ."
Cen Bio's name was used several times by the opponent's mouthpiece.
Therefore, you were WRONG in your first statement as I forecast. I guess you are broke and can't afford to buy me a beer. But an acknowledgement of my initial assertion would be appreciated.
