If it temporarily dips to 13, I'm a buyer because it will recover, if not by Friday's close, Monday for sure.
Oppenheimer is a well respected name in the biz. Should have an impact on pps.
One other possibility then. The programmers are updating some of the HIMX web pages, and needed to take part of the site down.
Something like that.
Bottom line: I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure it will be restored soon.
They are fully staffed at this time is the take away I get from that, himx.
OH, that's right. I remember you explaining that in a previous post to somebody else.
I had a similar problem with my alias, so I changed it to profiteer1 some months ago.
That explains why sbacchus is posting like crazy. Taking up your slack, himx.
Well stated, trumpace, though you might be a little optimistic when you say "31.50 may even be on the low side too".
That would be great if it were on the "low side", but I think a reasonable number would be mid-20 level.

Opportunity to add to one's position. I added today, and will add more if more weakness occurs in the coming days.
HIMX has good earnings prospects going forward. Plus it pays a dividend to boot. And I believe Google will increase it's stake when GG ramps up. So it's a no-brainer to buy this stock, imo.
Paragraph HIMX is mentioned:
If the PC sector continues to decline, Qualcomm could overtake Intel in sales, an executive at a semiconductor maker says. Intel has responded by offering to make chips for other companies on a contract basis, in addition to making its own processors. Its reign of supremacy among parts makers appears to be ending. Other up-and-comers include Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek, and LCD panel manufacturer Himax Display, also from Taiwan.
