My thought is that if I sell here I will regret that I didn't buy more at this price when SWKS is back around $100 where it belongs.
Is this the same strategy as the New York Knicks? Lose now so you can get higher draft prospects, and get rid of your better but overpaid players to create cap space to lure free agents.
I agree. I used to watch his show, and sometimes his view on the market in general was helpful. But as far as individual stocks are concerned, there were too many times when he praised a stock one day, and as soon as I established a position he'd have turned against it. At the same time telling his viewers he's teaching them to be long investors rather than traders.
I am losing my patience with STX. It appears that it should be an excellent holding. Any reason why it's performing so poorly? Should I sell and move on or hang in there? Thanks
Are you a long term investor? Maybe this is the pull back Cramer is looking for. Listen to the conference call, this may be your opportunity.
If Cramer is so bad for ones portfolio, why do you watch him or discuss him. Do you discuss any the stocks he was right about? Please, no one is correct about every stock they entertain. In addition, I think he was speaking about Honeywell and CAT as long term investments and would simply want you to add to your positions when the stocks went down.
