This can go on for years as it has been. They just suck another private investor in to buy a private placement, issue themselves some more stock, announce they are investigating a new drug pumping the stock up. This has been going on for decades with this same management. they are the only ones who win and the beat goes on. Shocking the number of unsophisticated investors who bite on this. All they have to do is look at the history of this company to see what a total failure it has been.
Apparently most people on this board are day trading or at best short term investors. That's the only explanation for watching it so closely and worrying about short term moves. If one was truly a long term investor, one would not make the kind of comments I see here. As you could probably guess, I'm in it for the long haul. This is either a home run or a bust but we won't know for a long time so why watch so closely. I check this board for comments on the development of the technology, certainly not for guessing how it will close today!!!
Did I just walk into the worst chat room I have ever seen? What difference does it make what there earnings/loss is right now. This will go up and down based on clinical results over time. Not how big or small the loss was last quarter. If you own it higher, just think what Celgene paid per share.
