The industry is still in its infancy. Stop selling all and trade only a portion say half and let some/many shares ride for years
Anticipation of prison industry collapsing. A huge amount of prisoners are there for non-violent drug crimes. Legislation is about to pass that will release a bunch of them, as well as stop imprisoning people for selling a plant safer than alcohol (less intoxicating, less addictive, less dangerous). Sell this and buy cannabis stocks especially TRTC, GWPH, PHOT, but there are many other great ones. Good luck get out while you still can it's going to get ugly for the status quo..
You did know first months sales in CO were to be released today right? Well, they just were and you're in BIG trouble. This is an industry in its infancy with bigger and bigger news out every day with more States getting cannabis reform on the ballot weekly, almost daily. These stocks are starting to get mentioned all over finance channels and major news publications. The under the radar thing is going bye bye. Seeing this opportunity and betting against it seems incredibly insane.
Colorado collected more than $3.5 million in taxes and fees from both recreational and #$%$ sales in January, according to figures released today by the state's Department of Revenue.
Of that amount, more than $2 million came from recreational pot.
Colorado became the first state where recreational pot went on sale on Jan. 1. Washington is the only other state with legal recreational pot, which is expected to go on sale this summer.
The first month of recreational sales falls in line with expectations, said Barbara Brohl, executive director of the Colorado Department of Revenue, in a statement.
"We expect clear revenue patterns will emerge by April and plan to incorporate this data into future forecasts," Brohl said.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
A change in Federal Law regarding cannabis as Schedule 1 (more restrictive than even cocaine and crystal meth) is imminent. Public opinion, social media, politicians being unable to formulate a rational reason to keep the safest drug listed as the most dangerous, and several other factors make rescheduling imminent. The more research I do the more it points that way.
More specifically, the Bloomberg article on Friday started the surge into a new trading range, and TRTC will also be featured on Fox Business News on Wednesday. Most of the time when people realize they can invest in cannabis they immediately do. This industry will not peak until years after a change in Federal Laws allows the industry to legitimately exist, but when the change is announced and implemented you will see massive gains very quickly. This industry is still in its infancy. Welcome to the party :)
I own both, but only risk a fraction of what I've got in TRTC. They are both very speculative much more so than TRTC, but if FITX comes through with approvals they will explode higher, but it is a very real risk that they dont' get approval and just absolutely collapse. This is why TRTC at the moment is superior they already do business while FITX and others are looking to begin.
Holy $%&K are you being serious? How badly are you losing you shorts? If you have no position and spend time saying one liners that don't do a thing to stop the melt up you really need to get a life. Peace bro ROFL!
Not much of a gap if only 3 cents. I say we hit .80 by 10am, I will be buying more at the open.
It has been moved to Wednesday according to their FB page. The good news is Denver sales numbers are expected tomorrow, but also could end up being reported late.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Bloomberg article Friday helped push this into a new trading range coupled with increasingly good industry news as more States will officially have cannabis reform on the ballot every week.
PS: Your ignorance is showing when you equated legality to availability/consumption. Cannabis is illegal yet sells more in dollar terms than corn and wheat COMBINED. The law neither limits supply nor deters use or sale. It is easier for kids to get pot than cigarettes because tobacco is a regulated product sold by legitimate businesses while high school kids are a significant portion of marijuana sales why would a kid care to sell to a kid?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Thank goodness it's not we are breaking into new highs while FITX has struggled to do much of anything and is moving on pure speculation that they will be approved. TRTC is already doing business while FITX hopes to in the future and is spending a lot of money before they even get approved. I own some FITX in case they do get approval it will be a top contender, but that is yet to be seen.
When there is income and cash and you say there isn't you are liable for your own lie...
It's very easy to see that your post if false and misleading, you might want to look into major lawsuits naming specific names of posters doing the exact same thing you just did. Not just fines, but jail time as well. Sweet dreams shorty.
I've been in and out of this industry for 5 years. I know a thing or two about it and Federal changes are on the way, anyone caught short when it hits will lose everything. We are talking doubles and triples within days after it happens.
This thread is so sad and pathetic with no reason given for your beliefs, just a circle jerk of wrong all the way down lol!!
