What's your point? REITs are often highly levered and the 28.5M shares represents 8% of the float. Fact is, despite the unpleasant earnings report, at the end of the day the stock declined only 7%. I've held plenty of stocks that dropped 25% or more on an earnings miss and a lot more than 8% of the shares were traded. This was a modest takedown by any measure.

Things change. The fact that it produced exceptional returns in the past has little relevance to what it will do in the future. If the past predicts the future, then this quarter should have been very good. It wasn't.
