You forgot to mention the other JV in the works for the rest of the acrege (or maybe DOUBLE, depending on the deal) as mentioned on the CC. Lets call it the same, using the current RICE valuation, ($100M cash + $310M in RICE stock) that would be $820M in those two JV's alone, and the Mkt Cap is $700M now??? Are the Coal reserves or the $1.2B in cash they have worth nothing? (Ok $260M of that is RICE stk as of 3/31) still that's $1.7B in cash and JV's. Why not take them over? Or private?

Think that's possible? ANR would turn it down for 2 reasons, #1 it severely undervalues the Company, and #2, they're too dumb.

Don't forget the new JV they mentioned on the CC, worth more than the RICE deal ($400M +) but they won't put a press release out about. There's $700M right there, Mkt cap is $712M, BTU should buy them, the Deal would cost them NOTHING!!

If the takeover doesn't happen, than a Cusip Change will cause all the shorties who've been laying on this stock, to run for cover. $300M in RICE stock, $400M JV for the rest of that land being firmed up, not to mention the rest of their assets (which admittedly they have debt, but $700M in cash not even accounted for!!) GG take these guys over then have a fire sale!
