Have you read the articles about the trouble SNY is in? Your a poor excuse for a poster.

  • purplehaze656 by purplehaze656 Dec 11, 2014 3:44 PM Flag

FDA has asked Mannkind to perform trials on children. Do you liars out there ( and you know who you are) think the FDA would request such a trial if they had any reason to think it would cause lung cancer? The PPS is a joke and a buying opportunity. I personally believe the problem with MNKD's stock price is not Afrezza but the hot water that SNY is in for kickbacks and other back door deals. Maybe management has failed again by partnering with a company that could potentially not be able to do business in the US. Afrezza is not the problem here.

  • purplehaze656 by purplehaze656 Dec 2, 2014 6:42 PM Flag

FDA did not request that they long term studies be completed before study on children is started.

  • Afrezza is locked in. Management is weak, sales will not be. Why they went to this conference I do not know. I have hope that after the next calendar year all the grey area of trials, dosing and sales will work out. I am resigned that in 2016 the fog will clear and Afrezza will be what we all wish for. Once the benefits (control) is vetted there will be no stopping the cash flow. When other companies sign on for pain management and irritable bowel syndrome. MNKD's future will be secured. Huge Afrezza sales will also be the lead dog once training and doctors, insurance companies see the benefits. Off to the races. Once again its the next quarter, year etc. But bad management cannot stop a superior product, nor can you deny the us gov't wants trials on children performed long before the long term safety study is complete.

    Pulmonary function testing

Do you see a PFT test being a barrier, I obviously mixed up the two testing procedures. What does a PFT entail. Thanks.

  • purplehaze656 by purplehaze656 Oct 23, 2014 7:29 PM Flag

After reading this post the Pulmonary Function Testing debate should be over and done with. I work at refinery and we have to take a PFT on our birthday month annually. A Registered Nurse can perform the test in less than 3-5 minutes. You take 3-5 deep breaths and blow into a tube which is connected to a computer and show your results immediately. The test is so easy even a caveman can do it.(sorry) This will not hinder the process of getting a prescription or getting one done at your annual physical with your PCP. Endo's will not be needed and doctors will make a pretty penny off the test and prescription. Easier than making Mac and Cheese. Done.

Sanofi exposed as criminals on 60 minutes

You are a complete tool. How about the hundreds of thousands of rape kits that are not tested due to lack of funding, but our govt has billions to spend on bombing anyone they want, that is of course excluding Russia, weird isn't it? Crimea? By the way I'm sure Udall will love hearing from shaggy 2 doap(clever by the way). That will get his attention, asap. #$%$.

  • purplehaze656 purplehaze656 Oct 6, 2014 2:46 AM Flag

Exactly, now he has sold his talent agency, by the way the biggest in L.A., yet he was only able to semi retire? I with you, I don't care. He could be short all 70+million for all I give a #$%$. I just want this drug to be successful. Its time for this debate to be over. Afrezza sales will answer that next year. Other than that who gives a rat's ski hat.

While I did not see the 60min segment, you have seen what the regulatory system has cost Mannkind to develop Afrezza. It will help millions of people. It cost almost 3 billion dollars and millions of man hours to get where we are. You are saying SNY is the "devil", really? What about all the money and time individual investors have lost because of the FDelAy? Are you not going to question the process your own govt has made so expensive?
And while you are referring to the BP's as the devil how about our own govt that is allowing millions of US children go to bed hungry and be trafficked in our own country, hotbeds like Atlanta and Detroit, millions of children who are forgotten by our Gov't. I bet if every trafficked child was carrying a barrel of oil we would wipe out human trafficking in 12-18 months. Our great govt who is the world's big brother handing out billions of dollars to tribes that have been fighting for thousands of years? All the money that was spent on weapons that have fallen into the hands of ISIS and the rest of the lying b.s. the U.S govt wastes our endless tax dollars on.
Pick something else besides BPs to hate on. Remember Afrezza is a drug that should be on it 2nd or 3rd year of sales. How many lives could have been changed for the good or saved for that matter? Wake up.

Hey wad that debt if 2 billion is nothing when MNKD sells for 22 billion. You guys are short sighted as heck.

    1) Afrezza- Why? mimics a human pancreas. huge world wide poorly met disease and market.
    2) Tecnosphere- Cricket Why? Pain relief. What type-1 Migraine-2 Chronic pain(opiates.50 billion dollar market.
    3) Technosphere Cricket, Why? Vaccines. Market size immeasurable.
    4) Technosphere platform delivery for countless other drugs. Market size in dollars immeasurable.
People speak of Al Mann and his age which is a understandable concern. My bet and for me its large, is he will be around when Sanofi is ready to pay what Al wants and deserves. It should not take Sanofi scientists that long to figure out what Mannkind has. One year from today would be more than enough time for them to be able to research and "play" around with the Technosphere platform and understand the patents to go to the money men or women and say a resounding yes! We will recoup our 22 billion dollar investment without much effort at all. Yes pay Al his 53 bucks a share and get this whole ball of wax under our umbrella. Do you really think Sanofi wants Al and MNKD to have licensing agreements with other BP's and then have a real bidding war? Sanofi has no age, they are ageless, they have the resources to take the Technosphere platform to places Al can only dream about due to his age. They will pay and he will and investors will triumph.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Nice presentation, but I believe it needs to be polished up and shortened. It needs to be a half hour presentation that can be given to PCPs at central locations with real diabetics showed in real time using Afrezza right after a meal is started and all the blood sugar stats showed in real time. Thanks for the find. I also think the portion about using the inhaler for pain needs more information and focus.

  • purplehaze656 purplehaze656 Oct 4, 2014 1:46 AM Flag

Wow, If I had to guess Afrezza is going to be approved in India real soon. Any reason it would not?
