Yes it is possible to buy then sell call and put options. Understand that options are high-risk plays and you can loose all the money that you put into them. On 9-20-01 (Thursday) I bought October 40 Calls (Qvrjh) at 5.10 (Ask 5.10 Bid 4.90) the stock price was at 40.80. Now the stock price is 42.22 and the bid is 4.50. There have only been a few days since the start of the play. The stock price has been lower than my entry point but now is higher and the bid price is lower than it was at 40.80. Can anyone explain?
