    Weak Hands Flushed Out

    by kz7m Sep 17, 2014 6:04 PM
pwstan pwstan Sep 17, 2014 7:17 PM Flag

I for one would love to see the company sold at 3.50 per share right now. But it's not gonna happen in my opinion. I am hugely (is that a word) long, for 15 years, and I can't imagine any company ante-ing up that kind of money for the continuously "interesting", "very interesting", etc, etc, results that this company has delivered. Thompson has already said, in a reply to one of the posters on the V2 board, when asked if Saab would have new information, "I am not sure what he will talk about beyond safety and the overall PFS, so nothing new." Why expect more??

I'm really disappointed in how this turned out. But ya got to take off the rose colored gl#$%$es eventually. I'll listen to Saab, or read about his poster board, but if it's not really good, time to cut bait. And I'm already kicking myself in the #$%$ for waiting this long.

Feel really good about the future prospects!

Yours has got to be the biggest bunch of horse manure that anyone has planted on this non-fertile ground in eons. Good grief!

You say "a great biotech company". Please tell us what makes it great?? The leadership. Uh-uh!. They just finished relieving their long tenured CEO of his job (we all rejoiced, but the vote is still out on his replacement). Virtually no one on the staff or the board ever buys shares on the open market. Gee, there's a real shot to the arm for long suffering longs.

You say "an amazing pipeline". Every drug these guys have ever produced or bought has taken eons to test. The one drug, Erivedge, that was commercialed was accomplished by Roche, not CRIS. And the contract for the royalties of this drug was negotiated by that "great biotech company" that you claim they are, starts at 5% and may, maybe, if we all go out and sit in the sun for many years and develop advanced melanoma, could rise to 7.5%, You believe in 427. Possibly, yes. Possibly 10-15 years from now if their phase 1 can get re-started and enrolled. What you say, hsp-90. Try to find that anywhere enrolling like wildfire. Oh, I know what you're thinking of. Their newly acquired IDP drug that's going into Phase II. I will say this. It has promise, if only someone else could run the trial. Even though they say early 2015 results, based upon past performance, I'd be happy with early 2016.

Negative am I? Cynical? You better believe it. Have been invested in this company for a real long time. I bailed on 66% of my stock at $3.30. Was really stupid to hang on to 33%. I will completely bail just as fast as I can. I like the products, I despise the management and the board. They seem like figureheads to me, a rudderless ship, or perhaps, just really selfish, lazy, stupid people.

    My 2 cents.

    Pointed Questions for ONCY

    by bailey201306 Jun 7, 2014 10:17 AM
pwstan pwstan Jun 7, 2014 8:22 PM Flag

Questions are great. But what does the poster do with them. My guess he gets more irate and more frustrated and spews more negativity on this board.

I for one have sent many of the same questions to Oncolytics repeatedly. The result, no response. Numerous times, no response. So what good does it do here to stir the pot here if only one or two or a few of us actually try to communicate with management. And then, management ignores us. Lots of down thumbs I'm sure, but the same people that give a negative rating probably have not tried to voice their frustration with management. THere is strength in numbers, but few of you have the balls to do it. Most people wait for someone else to make the attempt. As a fairly large stakeholder here (long) I would urge all of you to send repeated messages to management to get answers to Bailey's (and others) questions. Why they are so silent is really upsetting me!

    Change of approach

    by theirxthere May 24, 2014 8:35 AM
pwstan pwstan May 24, 2014 4:07 PM Flag

"Haranguing people for being steadfastly wrong". Well herexhear/hgff you haven't changed your approach at all! You can't help but accuse/berate/criticize, even in the post where you say you're trying a new approach. You don't know with certainty that any long here is wrong. There are cards still to be played.

If you're going to try a new approach, then DO IT. Don't try to hide your disdain for the regular longs here with that half-assed "approach".

D2foxes, I'd still like a private chat with you if you wouldn't mind. If yes, I'll post my email address here (2 topics to discuss, my cancer, and perhaps your sidebar conversations with other posters that seem to have disappeared).

kenny, are you the same poster as kenny_the_counselor, or has he disappeared too?

D2, I seem to recall you kept in contact with posters like bridger48, rjc, geneman, proboscis, and on and on. A bunch of really knowledgeable longs. Do you know if they've moved out of ONCY? Thanks,

You're a douchebag and a coward. First you wouldn't know how to find your way to the AGM. Second, you wouldn't have the balls to do what you propose. And finally, you're a bloated bag of wind with no ability or intention of following thru. Beat it.

You say "what can management do?" The answer to that is tons. Have you looked at all as to how they've managed the 101 fiasco? Have you looked at all at the length of time their letter to the FDA regarding response to there 427 compound has taken (they promised it to be done before the holidays), have you looked at the astoundingly bad deal they made on theire Erivedge drug and the subsequent poor enrollment, have you wondered why they licensed a drug from Pfizer for 10 million dollars that Pfizer has given up on, have you wondered why the CRIS staff has incredibly simple milestones to reach to assure themselves of absolutely gross stock options and bonuses, have you looked at the BOD salaries (for a couple of hours of work each week) and wonder why, have you looked at insider purchases and see there are virtually none (if the management doesn't believe, why should anyone else)? And there is so much more!!!

No, you are either a newbie, or a very naive investor. You choose. It can only be one of those.

Yikes! You must be a newbie (under 2 years invested). Longs know that what is said in a CC is in no way believable. Ali still has to prove himself, and he's sliding into negative ground very quickly. Passeri has proved to be incompetent as a leader (incompetent, at best). The BOD are just a bunch of scabs and money mongers that use CRIS as an ATM machine. Think about which of the management group and the BOD have done open share buying. Almost no one. And those that bought, bought far less than you and I.

We need new management and BOD. The "stuff" is there, but no one knows what to do with it. Seriously!!!

    Funding

Would agree with you 100% bot. If we get around $2.40, I'm selling a bunch cause I, as you, know what's coming, and it's not gonna feel good. How does that $4.00 offering feel that the company did a year ago? I'm still digging whitey-tighties from where the sun don't shine. They WILL do it to us again and again. It's historical, relentless, necessary yes, but oh so painful.

    SEC investigation?

    by casiturri Dec 13, 2013 8:27 PM
pwstan pwstan Dec 14, 2013 5:12 PM Flag

Hey Casiturri, Thanks for the info. I continue to be amazed by the low cost, yet high quality of wines out of S.A. I've long been a drinker and fan of their Malbecs, Tempranillos, and Cab's but it wasn't until I saw, live and in person, the 1st growth quality grapes from Chile that I decided to start getting my grapes from there. Malbec in April, maybe Pinot Noir in October (if they're available).

I'm jealous, big time. Thanks again,

Hey Casiturri, Would you mind telling me more about that Pinot Noir? Seriously! I'm a wine maker (home version but pretty big, about 900 bottles a year in three 60 gallon oak barrels) and I've been considering making a Pinot Noir, of the Russian Valley ilk. Yours must have been good (not trying to tease you), so I'd like to know the vintner and year. I make Cabs, Meritage Blends, Merlots, Sangioveses, Zins, and might be trying my first Chardonnay this coming year. Been doing it since 1999, and my audience gets wider and wider (I don't sell it but it's so good, everyone wants more)I get my grapes from Calif. and Chile. My wine is really, really good and far lower in the sulfites that people react to.

Anyway, rambled on. Tell me if you would.

So what NIC are you using on the V2 board? Herexhear, HGFF, and your newer X95 nics don't show up there. Must be yet another NIC, right herexhear? Just how many others do you have? You are soooo stupid, it is amazing. Poaching on the V2, afraid to say anything, because of the absolute mental beat-down you got last time you dared spew your ignorance. You are a very sad case. But hang in there, I know this little taunting game of yours is all you have.
