    WL Lithium Plant Location?

If this company has as much potential as we think a takeover should be out of the question now. Why sell out now? What kind of premium do you think you would get? Very little imo. Something is wrong if we can not get the money to do everything necessary to get to the next level. It is way too early to consider a takeover. I would be very disappointed if they sold out anytime soon.

Fund IS the correct word bud. If someone is scared with that they should not be in this stock. Fact is, someone is going to have to front us the cash for the facility and they ain't giving it to us for free. If it is Musk you can bet the terms of the supply agreement, assuming one ever comes to pass, will be on more favorable terms than if he dos not supply the funding. Or it will be a stock/debt offering, either public or privately.

Anybody who thinks there is not going to be more dilution here is smoking something...hope you live in Colorado! It is nothing to fear. That is the natural progression for a small company.

  • The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Tesla has chosen Nevada and it will probably be announced tomorrow, as State officials have scheduled a 4pm press conference.

I disagree to a certain extent Dog, unless your sources are telling you Hectatone is a bust. I am a terrible trader, so I am not going to play the 25 cent moves. I have a core position I'll hold until this plays out over the next couple of years. I''ll add more if the market tanks for whatever reason and takes this along for the ride. But ultimately fundamentals do matter and if sales to the oil patch start to come in the stock will react. The warrant holders, presumably, know the company and if good things start to happen they will stop the arb because natural buyers will take the stock up and they'll want the leverage of additional shares. Anything going on with the Tesla traders, which granted is a lot of what is going on now, is just noise. If you are a good trader money can be made there.

We'll probably be in a range for a while, but if mud sales start later this year the stock could break out. I don't want to try to time that, so I am sitting tight for now.

    Questions on Selling, SEDI

When they did the offering with the warrants I posted that the stock would probably be stuck in a range, capped out where the warrants convert. Warrant holders short the stock and collect the arb, because they are covered with the warrant. That then feeds on itself, as other traders see the negative action and pile on. That is probably what is happening now. Absent any big news in the near term that is going to be what we have to deal with.

It also looks to me like someone(s) think or know there is another offering coming. That would make sense, as they are going to need money for working capital, as they add equipment, supplies and people to ramp up. that is a good thing, but may cause some short term pain to the share price, since nobody gives away money for free (except the US Government, but I digress).

Hope and fear have no place in investing. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen.

Sticking around to collect that monthly dividend has cost me a ton of money. Just appears to be no bottom...I started buying this around $20. Only hope is a sale to salvage something. After all this time hard to see getting bailed out any other way.

Western is up 30% in 3 weeks in a down market. It is much better for all holders to see an orderly move up on good volume, rather than a spike for day traders.

Since you asked what the heck Hectatone is I'll guess you are one of them.

    So Where's The Gigafactory?

Yes Definitely Dog. No matter how good the product the little dog...WLCDF....needs to play by the rules of the big dogs....HAL and Baker, in order to get in the game.

If the stock does not respond to favorable news in this area you buy until you can't buy anymore.

Don't need any teaser announcements Bud. That is just a sugar rush to juice the stock up and then back down again. What we need is some mud sales. That will be the next driver for the stock and it should be coming soon.

We don't need hype, Tesla or otherwise. That is a sugar rush that gets the stock up on big volume from day traders, then the inevitable decline back from where it came. I definitely believe in the EV story and Tesla, no matter where they put the plant. But that is, as the IR said, at least a couple of years away. The market anticipates, so we'll see some benefit sooner than that I hope. Near term the Hectatone product and its success is way more important to getting this stock moving again.

I don't think this is new news. Lithium has always been a 2016-17 time frame to start cranking. I suspect the mouthpiece is just being conservative when he says a few years. But any long dated project is always going to have delays for one reason or another. Which is why the drilling product is so important as a bridge to lithium. If that works it provides earnings and cash flow for the company to work on lithium, with less dilution to existing shareholders. If it does not work there is more external financing required, plus it put doubts out there about the ability of management to bring product to market.

Too much focus on Tesla here, in my opinion. We have a near term event, which if successful will be very helpful for everyone involved. That should be the focus.
