Obama is a good speaker, and a good president.
He achieved what he said he would do during the campaign.
Get out of Iraq
Fix the economy
Universal health care
He had to battle the Party of No! Why will the not give Garland a fair hearing?
The GOP are absolutely irresponsible….
Maybe, they don't want to work? Maybe, they like the attention?
After all, Bernie Sanders never paid attention to them while they were working...
I agree with the OP...get to work, and be grateful you have a job...
iamgarce is a good poster. The stock was up on an outstanding EPS report.
BMY is a solid long term hold in any retirement portfolio.
OP answers own question. Down 4% no news= buy opportunity.
UA just reported a fabulous quarter. They are gaining market share.
UA has a ton of growth opportunities ahead.
They are the new Nike.
I went to Golfsmith and my swing coach gave me 50% coupons off all merchandise.
I went to purchase two UA shirts & pants and the cashier said the discount does not apply to UA.
Why? Because Under Armour does not need to discount. They have pricing power.
That is all I need to know to buy more...
UA is along term play. Buy the dips.... No brainer...
This company is well run, and has a ton of growth ahead of it. Granted, much of that growth is priced in. But, I suspect BMY will continue to execute and provide solid returns for its shareholders. I like the dividend as well….
Beat and raise quarter. BMY hitting all time highs with zero overhead resistance.
A clear path to $75?
You seem like a reasonable person. The people get the government we deserve. The financial crisis and Iraq war have taken a toll. But, like you say the USA is so strong we have survived poor leadership.
You are correct, and as others have stated the dependence on government is not healthy, and that is one reason I reject Bernie Sanders who wants to take care of everybody.
But, making fun of people, building a wall, and alienating the fastest growing voting block in the country is no way to led or govern. Excluding an entire group of people is lame as well. That is why I reject Mr. Trump.
The candidates and their rhetoric in 2016 is disgusting, and the people deserve better. The parties love the fact that both the left and right are screaming at each other. We need a leader who can compromise, and bring people together, and YES CUT GOVERNMENT!
Obama was elected and Re-elected by a landslide based on the economy, Iraq war, and health care. he has delivered on all three promises of his campaign platform. You may not like everything about what he has achieved? But, that is what the people of this great nation wanted and voted Obama into office on that premise.
I did not like George W. Bush as president after he started a senseless war. But, I supported the man because that is what a good citizen needs to do. We need to respect the position of the sitting president. This country is ripped apart by mindless people who are blaming politicians for their failures. Grow up, get a job, take care of yourself and others. Quit whining about the politicians you do not agree with.
Well said! All politicians are bought and paid for, and will say anything for a vote.
People waste time debating over which party lies more. The system is broken...
Republicans do not have a monopoly on lying. All politicians do it...
GOP is just a little better at it... Still searching for those WMDs?
The strong dollar can no longer be used as an excuse for "headwinds" for earnings.
I believe these headwinds are starting to trend towards tailwinds? Is that the reason the stock is soaring? The dollar is weakening and RPM should be posting better numbers for Europe in 2016. The US housing market is on fire, and reports surfaced this week that it will be a record year in the USA for dollars spent on home remodeling.
Recently, the stock just cannot be kept down. It is like trying to hold an inflated basketball
under water. The thing just wants to head to the surface. Those looking to add must be frustrated...
Of course Jordan outsells Curry at this moment as they have way more distribution threads. But, as Under Armour, and their Curry line grow so will their shoe sales.
As Wayne Gretzky said "I skate to where the #$%$ is going, not where it has been."
Of course that is the way the game is played. Do not listen to their words. Watch their actions.
A downgrade/upgrade is issued to move an equity one way or the other. There is always an agenda when it comes to money. There is nothing honest about Wall Street. Learn to play the game or don't play at all.
I work with kids, and can tell you that Steph Curry is killing it with the younger generation. Nike is out, and Under Armour is in… This is a long term trend. Ride the wave….
Coming July 1 from Under Armour: the Curry 2.5, the shoe Curry wore when the Warriors got their 73rd win. Then in the fall, the Curry 3. Yeah, Steph Curry is moving product.
No! He has a sell rating on UA and a price target of $33.
He did say UA will triple in 10 years.
Therefore, it is a long term play.
