Another bit of rubbish to distract from the original and accurate point in Ray's OP....
$20M makes Rays case even more solid. If ON was going to generate $1B in sales over the next 8 years it AVNR wouldn't have it because $20M wouldn't buy it.
Facts is facts ralph and common sense is common sense.
more mumbo jumbo...who cares about the sales force - that wasn't the point of the OP.
Common sense dictates AVNR would not be able to buy Optinose for $20M if it was going to have $1B in sales over the next 8 years - they would've been outbid by a larger pharma.
Stop with your rubbish.
More rubbish again from traderalph ignoring the fact that Ray's post is truthful and accurate. Ray was simply (and accurately) answering the previous posters question on when the company would break even.
Ray nor anybody else said anything about PBA only or mid-cap biotech etc....more obfuscation and diversion from the original accurate response Ray gave.
Facts is facts ralph.
Sure...since Greg (the AVNR public relations guy) stated it would at an investment conference it surely must be true.
You really are something else Places. Deceptive is the word that comes to mind.
More rubbish and irrelevant(to the original post) nonsense. Ray's post stands. If it was going sell $1B or so over the next 8 years it wouldn't have been bought by AVNR for $30M.
Ralph your propagnda and your boiler pumping crew of greatday, tradestoxx, and places intentionally misleading posts cannot overcome Ray's perfect common sense in the original post - if it was so valuable it would have sold for much more and AVNR wouldn't have been the buyer. It is like your partner tradestoxx saying AVNR was going to $250 - just ridiculous.
Sorry ralph - facts is facts and common sense is common sense.
This is an outstanding no nonsense illustration to debunk greatday's incessant propaganda. Your logic cuts through his and place's rubbish. So just how would AVNR be able to buy it for $30 million if what greatday relentlessly parrots here is true. It isn't. It reminds me of the other parrot - tradestoxx claiming AVNR was going to $250 per share. A simple market cap illustration discredited that (150M shares X $250...yeah right).
Thanks for posting good logical and concise posts!
I wouldn't cover till $4 or so. I believe they drop the dilution bomb tomorrow after close - the old Friday news dump and hope nobody notices.
I predict a shelf is on the way. AVNR would CRAZY not to. If there was ever a time to dilute this is it - prior to a wildcard judicial decision that has enormous implications for the business moving forward.
Just wondering what the offering would be at. Maybe more along the lines of $3.50 - $4.00?
Good find Ray.
Did Avanir ever even comment on the Gravity Research short thesis on Seeking Alpha?
Horsecents claimed that piece "defamed" Avanir. I don't think he understands that defamation actually requires the claim(s) to be false....
"Under common law, to constitute defamation, a claim must generally be false...."
I think you have lost your marbles ralph. $8??? Prior to the decision - who is "intentionally misleading" who here? You'll be lucky to see $8 after a 100% favorable decision.
What if the decision is not favorable or split somehow? You ever heard of insurance?
I'll accept your apology when they announce the shelf.
Ray - ralph is obviously is in his "risk free" AVNR bubble - what for like 15 years?
Maybe he doesn't buy or believe in car insurance, health insurance or life insurance either - you know nothing ever goes wrong! (especially in AVNR land)
There is no "but" Places. The generics will not be paying AVNR legal fees or damages dmj3430 was wrong.
No "buts" about it.
"Let me help you out here.........how about the costs of all AVNR legal fees plus damages??? Or is that too much for you to comprehend???"
dmj3430 said the above referring to what he thinks the generics will have to pay AVNR in the event of a favorable decision for AVNR.
Is this accurate Places? Are you really this dishonest?
Sigh.....please do tell - how much is a "very NI$E settlement courtesy of the generics"?
Care to help Places???
I feel like this poor gentleman might be misunderstanding something here.
I'm going to guess 10M shares priced around $4.00 to $4.40.
It would just be good insurance against an unfavorable decision - even if it is not probable - especially in light of this run-up. That isn't all bad - the company would secure more cash and put a potential floor on the stock.
Congrats to longs on the run-up!
Who would want to buy a car without headlights?
That isn't tough to figure out. Nobody - unless you only want to drive during the day.
