Oh I see, then what you are telling us is that the LA Times lies. Well I will keep that in mind next time you mention them as being refuting another truth of theirs. Of course the rest of us already know that the LA Times is as unreliable and lies as much as the NYT. Now you know too.

  • rahtexas12 rahtexas12 Apr 14, 2014 4:17 PM Flag

You notice not one liberal has been able to refute what the LA Times said just bashing and obfuscation. Hard to refute the truth isn't... unless you try lie to lie to do it. Remember your own liberal rag news paper said this not some conservative or conservative organization. Not that we disagree though. What a sad lot liberals are.

  • Former CBS News investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson, who said Sunday that the network did not want to deal with the “headache” of covering Obama controversies, seems happy to be free from the network.

And why not? CBS News is run by the brother of the Obama official Attkisson was pursuing for one of the very stories that earned her “troublemaker” status in the CBS newsroom.

Attkisson also recently said that she was routinely discouraged from pursuing Obama administration scandals like Fast and Furious and Benghazi.

“Benghazi I was assigned to look into about three weeks after the attacks happened by management, and pursued that aggressively, and as I felt we were beginning to scratch beneath the surface on that scandal as well which I think had many legitimate questions yet to be asked and answered. Interest was largely lost in that story as well on the part of the people that are responsible for deciding what goes on the news,” Attkisson told Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly last week.

“So did they tell you, look, we don’t want you to spend any more time on this? Was it that direct?” O’Reilly asked.

“No. It’s more as though there is no time in the broadcast,” Attkisson replied.

“They really, really liked the story but you start to hear from, you know, other routes that ‘why don’t you just leave it alone,’ ‘you know, you are kind of a troublemaker because you are still pursuing it.’ It kind of goes from hot to cold in one day, sometimes. Where they are asking you to pursue something heavily and then it’s almost as if a light switch goes off and look at you all of the sudden, ‘Why are you bringing this story?’”

The Daily Caller reported in 2013 on Atkisson’s struggle to reveal the Obama administration official that edited the Benghazi talking points. The editor of the talking points turned out to be Obama’s deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes, brother of CBS News president David Rhodes.

    Humm, the cover-up continues.

Agreed. I believe most liberals have a natural reaction like that to any truth. There are so many things wrong with their ideas I believe they have gone through the pavlov exercises of stimulus and reaction through long repetition of being exposed to reality, its a habit now. Why they may not even recognize it, almost like scratching their buts to a bad itch. They scratch a lot don't they.

Don't get mad at me. Get mad with your holy LA Times. The truth is the truth and you can't avoid it by trying get us to look the other way. That may work in Cali but it doesn't work here. Well when you look at the people you send to the senate and congress it brings into the question what kind of people you are graduating from your schools. It does not say much for your state or its people with the quality of people you are sending or how they seem to vote or not vote. But I guess you have overlooked that in your desire to not face reality. Typical.

unfortunately Holder will side-line any charges, like Reid does any bill he doesn't like. They are all afraid of exposing the truth about Obama and the Democratic agenda. Not even the Fed has confidence as they showed when they side-lined any action aligned with the unemployment rate going to 6.5%. They realize the truth of the matter with well over 12 million people not accounted for as unemployed.

  • Quote of the day by Dianne Feinstein -- worthless.

Dianne Feinstein: "All vets are mentally ill in some way and government should prevent them from owning firearms."

Yep -- she really said it on Thursday in a meeting in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee -- and the quote below from the LA Times is priceless. Sometimes even the LA Times gets it right.

Kurt Nimmo - LA Times: "Senator Feinstein insults all U.S. Veterans as she flays about in a vain attempt to save her anti-firearms bill."

Quote of the Day from the Los Angeles Times:

"Frankly, I don't know what it is about California, but we seem to have a strange urge to elect really obnoxious women to high office. I'm not bragging, you understand, but no other state, including Maine, even comes close. When it comes to sending left-wing dingbats to Washington, we're Number One. There's no getting around the fact that the last time anyone saw the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Maxine Waters, and Nancy Pelosi, they were stirring a cauldron when the curtain went up on 'Macbeth'. The four of them are like jackasses who happen to possess the gift of blab. You don't know if you should condemn them for their stupidity or simply marvel at their ability to form words."

    Columnist Burt Prelutsky,
    Los Angeles Times

It's your state not mine and your own said it not me or another conservative. But I agree wholeheartedly for once with them. Maybe the pot smoke haze is thinning for some of you.

I see that the typical liberal crybabies come out of hiding when struck in the face with some truth for a change. hard to swallow knowing you are hypocrites and everyone knows it. No hiding these days, not even from yourselves.

  • rahtexas12 by rahtexas12 Apr 8, 2014 3:04 PM Flag

    You want hypocrisy.
The Obama Administration and Democrat #$%$ Durban are in a campaign for equal pay for women who on average supposedly make less then women. Not where I work.
Obama claims women make only 77 cents for every dollar a man does in the workplace, calling it a vestige of “Mad Men” society”. Of course they like to blame it on Republicans and Conservatives. This is inaccurate and the statistic has been repeatedly busted as false based on using and twisting those statistics.
What’s worse is that while they be cry such pay inequality both the Obama and Durban offices pay their women much less then the men make. For every $ a man makes the a woman in Obama’s office makes 17% less. For Durban its around $11,500 less per year than the men. Maybe they should clean their own house before looking elsewhere and set the right example not the wrong example.

    An Obamcare/ACA story

    by langosta_fla Apr 8, 2014 11:59 AM
    rahtexas12 rahtexas12 Apr 8, 2014 2:49 PM Flag

I have a hard time believing what I have read here from you. lang. Your in-Laws in my opinion are the exception. I have heard few stories where an individual's or family H.C. cost went down. I have heard many, many stories of just the opposite. Also it would be interesting to see if the what they got from Obamacare is the same in coverage they received previously. Not once have I heard of anyone getting the same coverage they previously had for the same or less under Obamacare.

It's really a shame too. If the Dems had done this right and made ACA truly affordable for everyone it would be a great boon to people like me who would happily go contract knowing I can through a safe and secure website get the same insurance, with the same doctors at the same or a better price and throw off the restraints of working for a Corporation or business that really does not care about you just to get decent insurance and benefits. You silly liberals thing that conservatives are against something like ACA but we aren't. What we are against is the horrible law past exclusively by what must be some of the stupidest and egocentric people in modern history. But of course they are liberals. For liberals to brag about this law being so wonderful is like bragging you shot yourself in both feet and then in the groin. You grin and bear through all the pain and say it doesn't hurt at all. We know better.

Most likely Obama will not be impeached. Like Carter, Obama is incompetent and he didn't get impeached. Just laughed at. Besides Obama is a great marketing tool for the GOP. They will use him as the standard for why Americans don't want to elect another Democrat President. He stands out like a strobe light as a example of what to expect from Dems and liberals.

Agreed, but until Congress gets a pair and confronts Obama on this he will keep doing it. I contacted both my reps and gave my support for anything they want to do against this. Perhaps they are waiting for the elections when they take over both houses and then go after him.
