greenhornet, I'll connect the dots for you. The Solar failed Industry in America (remember Solyndra and the number of Solar Companies that went bankrupt, some how thought their salvation is the demise of coal. The truth is until they come up with some non polluting long term storage, SOLAR IS DEAD as far as expanding in scope large enough to support an enterprise worthy of investment.

One of the methods the greenies and the solartards were using to bolster their failed solar investments was via the help of Mr. Carbon Credits Gorebull and his Warmettes. The fact is we don't have global warming, in fact we are heading into a mini-ice age and I keep posting daily the evidence. Here we are just a few days away from August and Hudson Bay Canada still has 40% ice coverage in the eastern half mainly, and the entire east coast of Greenland is mostly covered with sea ice and its not going away. Down under, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Chili, Peru, and Argentina are having horrible winter weather, worst in 100 years in some spots. Snow is still covering most of Southern Norway where they had record snow accumulation this winter, and 90% of all the worlds Glaciers are growing and advancing, some at 7 feet per day.

The Obama war on coal has been fought under a false pretense. Obama, Gore, and the Dependencycrat Solartards, using the EPA and government regulations to destroy coal, will soon be facing a lot of criticism because winters will get worse and worse and by 2030 it will be a foregone conclusion they were wrong. What good does it do you to have a solar collector on your roof top if its covered with 2 feet of snow? What happens when the windmill gets covered with ice and stops working? What happens when the sun doesn't come out and the wind doesn't blow? You need standby energy even when you got green power. That's why Germany now has 7 new coal fired plants and ARE BUILDING 30 MORE.

America's nuclear plants are also shutting down due to age. Understand?

  • Finland – Summer 2015 poised to be coldest on record. “The mercury has exceeded 20 degrees C so rarely this year that the summer of 2015 is shaping up as the chilliest in more than half a century of statistics tracked by the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI).

Freak July cold front brings snow to Northern Rockies (or is it freak? maybe its global cooling results)
Shatters daytime temperature records across Idaho.

The combination of moisture and cold air was expected to settle over Idaho, Montana and Wyoming through Tuesday in a pattern rarely seen in those states before late August or September, said forecasters with the National Weather Service.

More than an inch of snow was reported on Monday in the mountains of western Montana, central Idaho, and at the Jackson Hole, Wyoming ski area.

With a possible freeze in the forecast, farmers in Salmon, Idaho, scrambled to cover their crops.

Peak daytime temperatures set cold records in much of Idaho on Monday, with highs running 10 degrees colder than usual, said Travis Wyatt, a Weather Service meteorologist in Pocatello.

In Idaho Falls the mercury climbed to just 68 F on Monday, six degrees below the previous record low high for the date set in 1993. In Challis, Idaho, the daytime temperature rose to only 66 F, shattering the previous record of 72 set on July 27, 1940, some 75 years ago.

“It’s very rare for a cold front to move through in July. It has happened before, but it’s anomalous,” Wyatt said.

Australia – Cold kills abnormally high number of lambs. Mortality rate almost 40 per cent.

Peru – Cold kills 42 people. And pity the poor animals, whose pastures are covered by ice.

Chile – Heavy snowfalls force 14 municipalities to declare state of emergency. 27 July 2015 – Snowfalls left isolated people and animals dead in the region of La Araucania.

We are now at the 11th hour of establishing a Strategic Grain Reserve.

  • Lots of interesting topics today. Hudson Bay Sea ice and East Coast of Greenland just not melting.

Snowing in Montana! In July, got that? “We just received a report that snow is falling on Saddle Mtn in the Bitterroot Range around 8000 feet elevation!”

Summer frost possible Tue + Wed morning – Montana and N Idaho valleys. The better chance for frost will be on Tuesday night, says National Weather Service.

Possible snow tonight in Wyoming and Utah. Freezing temperatures possible. Is this another Polar Vortex or is this related to the Magnetic pole shift?

What Killed the Mammoths — Heatstroke or Frostbite? “Of course, frostbite is just killing your extremities, toes, fingers, nose or ears. However it often precedes severe undercooling of the whole body with subsequent death.” – Dr. Klaus L.E. Kaiser

Researchers confirm that cold weather killed the mammoths – But article tries to blame global warming.

With these STRANGE COLD weather patterns now hitting the Rocky Mountains, thats more anecdotal evidence the lack of sun spots coupled with the shift of the magnetic pole is already having an effect. Will it take us to the point of being in the middle of the Munder Minimum II before governments act and start storing grain? Freeze dried sealed packages that can last 100's of years is the way to go, stored in old salt mines or other conventional dry safe storage locations. If they had to they could even build environmentally controlled ware houses and store barrels of carefully dried and sealed grain. It could also be distributed around the country to ensure survival of the stocks in case of natural disaster or war.

Better get a strategic grain reserve going before we go by the way of the Mammoths.

Global Cooling update for July 25, 2015

That's why grain has to be stored properly. With proper storage, grain can be stored for an indefinite period of time. The reason why elevators have driers is to prolong storage. Grain stored in a desert region, would take less energy to dry it and prepare it for long term storage. In Egypt they discovered burred wheat that had been stored for over 5000 years.

For long term storage, grain has to be dried down below 10% moisture content. Grains dried and stored in hermetically sealed packaging can be stored indefinitely. 50 year storage would be an easy target, but the problem comes into security, theft, and political will.

  • Imagine all that ice in Hudson Bay and the Entire East Coast of Greenland, just will not go away. And here we are in late July and Cold front headed toward Northern Rockies.

Could bring snow.25 Jul 2015 – The cold front is expected to sweep into the Northern Rockies on Sunday, bringing cooler temperatures, rain and possibly snow at high elevations in Montana’s Glacier National Park, according to the National Weather Service.Firefighters hope this will help their efforts to contain a wildfire burning through the park.

In the bible it talks about the Pharo who was advised that after 7 good years there would be 7 years of famine by an angel sent from heaven. He stored grain for 7 years and was laughed at, then famine struck for 7 years and the people did not starve because of his astute planning.

We have crop failures facing us and by 2030 things will be bleak because of global cooling and the mini-ice age that has started with this solar minimum due to lack of sun spots.

Have you noticed not one word out of the white house on the lack of sunspots? Nor has Al Gore mentioned the sun has entered a slumber and we are indeed heading for another Maunder minimum just like the 1600's.

Obama isn't as bright as the Egyptian Pharo who stored grain for 7 years, but nevertheless that enterprise needs to being right away before its too late. We may actually be too late now. If there is an abundant crop allowing exports this year, some of it needs to go into a grain reserve.

  • All that sea ice on Hudson Bay Canada just will not go away and it will soon be August. And the Greenland East coast which is exposed to the Atlantic Ocean, has all that sea ice that's not disappearing. Its driving all the warmers nuts. Was supposed to be ice free by last year. Looks like they were wrong as Ice refusing to melt in east Hudson Bay and Frobisher Bay.

Heavy snowfall isolates more than 700 people in Lonquimay, Chile. 23 July 2015 – In some places the snow has reached up to 50 centimeters (20 inches).

Peru – Coldest winter in decades – 250,000 alpacas die.

We should get this strategic grain reserve going.

2030 is not that far away, when the brutal mini-ice age will be creating massive starvation.

I'd like to get some FRO shares at $1.30 again, but lately Rami has only delivered around $2.20.

This can be the most stubborn dam stock. Won't go up and it won't go down it seems.

  • Here comes shorty!

It was nice while it lasted, DOW 14,000 next month?

Question do you all have down side protection or are you "all in?"

Cash sometimes is beautiful (like now).

A broker friend of mine informed me Chinese are selling U.S. Treasuries now because their own economy is a train wreck. Oops here goes interest rates through the roof.

Obama will blame it on Bush.

"Do you miss me now?" [Bush]

And here's Hillary the Hun saying she's going to DOUBLE the tax on Capital Gains.

Hello DOW 8500 if Hillary the Hun is elected.

    rami,

    O B A M A R E C E S S I O N

FRO continues to perform in great correlation to your comments. I do wish you could talk it back down to $2.22 again so I can get some more cheap shares.

We now have a new situation developing that's ultimately not going to do many stock investors a lot of good, and that is the Obama Recession as started.

Looking at Reality Trac data, Foreclosures just popped up 4% last week, so the good times have came to an end it looks like. No doubt Obama will try to blame it on Bush even though he's been President for 6.5 years.

Rail shipments continue down, and as you probably saw the headlines UNP earnings fell 7%. That's recession level drops. Notably among the rail shipping data is petroleum shipments were down 20%, coal was down 10%, iron ore, steel, and non metallic minerals also dropping faster than a #$%$ panties on a street corner in the Bronx. Automobile shipments were down about 7% along with auto parts.

Qualcom just announced its going to lay off 15% of its work force. With IBM, UTX, CAT, and other big DOW components now having huge layoffs, any more positive numbers coming out of Obama on employment data is pure fantasy. I would not be shocked to see a 1000 point drop on the DOW any day.

6 states now have looming foreclosures getting uglier by the hour: NY, NJ, IL, FL, NV, and AZ.

Florida alone has 130,000 foreclosures and growing. I wonder how Chris Christie is going to explain all those foreclosures in his state where he's Governor, obviously his efforts don't cut it there, which leaves me lots of doubt he has any business trying to run the USA.

Not far behind those 6 bell ringer foreclosure states is PA, WI, CA, OH, IN, GA, SC, WA, MI, ME. Also states now showing R/E crisis in the brewing but not yet up to the bell ringer list include CO, NM, KS, OK, ID, WY, and a few others.

About the only railroad of significance that's not trading below the 200 dma now is CNI, but its chart isn't all that wonderful either.

  • Arctic ice pack grew by 41 percent in 2013. Al Gore said it would be clear water by now.

I mentioned this yesterday, but because Hudson Bay has more in it this time of year in almostr the past 100+ years I thought I would repeat it:

Arctic global warming research expedition put on hold – Too much ice.

Worst ice conditions in 20 years

22 July 2015 – A carefully planned, 115-day scientific expedition on the Canadian icebreaker CCGS Amundsen has been put on hold as the vessel was called to help resupply ships navigate heavy ice on the eastern side of Hudson Bay.

“Obviously it has a large impact on us,” says Martin Fortier, executive director of ArcticNet, which coordinates research on the vessel. “It’s a frustrating situation.”

During the summer, ArcticNet utilizes the Amundsen as a floating research center, running experiments 24 hours a day.

Worst ice conditions in 20 years

Johnny Leclair, assistant commissioner for the Coast Guard, said Tuesday conditions in the area are the worst he’s seen in 20 years.

With only two icebreakers available in the Arctic — the CCGS Pierre Radisson has been escorting resupply ships through ice-choked Frobisher Bay — he said the only option was to re-deploy the Amundsen

Its time for a strategic grain reserve. We really are running out of time

oropan, the fact Trump is in the lead is driving Lying Lakeed and the other Dependencyrats nuts.

Walker and Kaisich are both great men whom I respect. The fact Trump is in the lead and Hillary the Hun is daily concentrating on him as he keeps on kicking her but, allows Kaisich and Walker to get out their great messages without being bombasted by the progressive commie libs working on the Hun campaign.

Kaisich and Walker would both be great Presidents so anyone thinking the GOP doesn't have leaders is sadly mistaken.

lakeed, you sir in fact are the big LIAR. I never discuss global warming, I only discuss global cooling. I present numerous articles available to the public. The problem is your Dependencycrat Confiscationers have made an asserted war on coal and energy based on false information, lies and distortions. A prominent information company which I posted on [BTU] says it will no longer use NASA or NOAA data because they have tampered with the data to fit in with the political agenda of our failed President.

Lakeed why do you keep lying and spreading false information?

I've posted links to sites and lawyers representing EMF claims, so get over it you are a LIAR on EMF concerns because there are NUMEROUS EMF issues easily goggled on the internet.

Utilities in fact are fearful of EMF litigation.

If I'm wrong about EMF litigation why are there so many EMF litigation lawyers ready to sign up people in law suits?

So please stop lying, you only make yourself look like a moron.

Yea Global Cooling baby, mini-ice age, your Gorebull Warmette's got snookered just like you did stupid.

Mr. Keembodakine, Can you tell me the name of any large company we can invest into that doesn't have some form of globalization? If it trades as part of the S&P 500, its unlikely its a domestic only investment. I admit FRO isn't one of my smartest investments, but I like PIGS.

You obviously like Globalization since you invest in it too, which means you shouldn't be lecturing someone for doing exactly what you do. I don't have to like globalization just because I chose to invest in this PIG.

    OINK OINK

P.S. Rami will be chiming in shortly to elucidate how FRO just disappointed us again today.

Its irritating and pysing off a lot of GOP's and Hillary's campaign that Trump is way above them in the POLLS. As the Media attacks Trump more and more, people tend to gravitate towards him because the majority of the population hates the lying SOB's who run the media for hire to do political hatchet jobs on their opponents.

Trump in the race has done several good things. First of all he's marginalized Bush and Clinton so the other candidates can get out their voice. By the drive by media focusing in on Trump 7/24 they have not had much time to denigrate Bernie Sanders who likewise is growing in the polls and it appears might actually upset Hillary the Hun. Secondly he's forcing the other candidates to discuss important issues such as illegal aliens, unfair trade instead of the BS that has nothing to do with our financial health such as abortion, gay marriage, and gun control.

I know lots of GOP people I communicate with on a daily basis. Almost every one of them prefers Trump over all the rest because they are sick and tired of all the BS false promises, and the tooth fairy Clintonesque.

Warren Buffett has always advocated buying back shares in a period of tumultuous performance, like he convinced Kathryn Graham of the Washington Post.

Buying back debt has better long term strategic impact, which ultimately reduces costs to the company thus future profit enhancements, but the psychological impact of buying back shares has a more profound and immediate impact.

A pack of day traders systematically leaching and destroying a company can continue that process during debt buyback phase, but on the other hand if they have to fight an 800 pound gorilla buying back double the shares they are shorting, it changes the complexities of the battlefield.

Either one of those processes works for me. Some cash needs to be held in reserve as a practical measure to avoid visiting the banker for loans to facilitate operations, however cash above and beyond the basic safe money treasury requirements, needs to be working for the company and not being wasted in a dormant and non-dynamic fashion out of fear. A reasonable approach would be to modestly do both, some stock buyback and some debt buyback.

Since coal prices are depressed now, spending money to increase production of coal is counter intuitive. Fiscal measures that restructure the financial aspect of the company without negatively impacting share owners is a better deployment of capital until price and demand improve.

Trump is still rising in the polls to the shagrin of all the GOP Candidates and Hillary Clinton.

As the News Media continues to attack Donald Trump, its have a psychological effect that nobody ever considered. The people in the USA are now so "peaced off" at main stream drive by media that every time they slam Donald Trump, the public recoils and gives more support for Trump to show the media, "We are tired of your lies, manipulation, and lib BS and will vote for Trump to prove it."

Trumps presence in the race is having a corrosive effect on all those shoe in media friendly candidates like Bush and Clinton. Trumps spectacular rise in popularity and anti-media effect, has marginalized Clinton and Bush to the point where Bernie Sanders and some of the other Candidates are getting their message out slowly since they don't have the pack of wolves drive by media types out there spinning and trying to marginalize their campaigns. Sanders campaign is picking up steam because Clinton isn't stating the Dependencycrat rhetoric because she is afraid of alienating the "middle."

Clinton has lost the left, she's lost the Trump media hater voters, just as Bush has lost the right and is barely clinging to the middle.

A new situation evolved yesterday. Its clear to Trump the GOP friendly media is after him relentlessly because their depressed he's killed their boy's Bush real chance of election for the time being and has hinted as a 3rd party Candidate. That just sent shivers down the backs of the GOP hardliners who have privately selected Bush as their boy. They know if Trump runs as a 3rd party candidate that puts Bernie Sanders or Clinton in the White House. So Trump has laid out to them a scorched earth policy." You damage my campaign, I ruin yours."

As much as some of you may dislike Trump, whether he wins or not, he has reshaped this campaign. He's called out all the GOP candidates on Illegal Aliens. McRino and company now have someone to answer to.

You continuously belittle people because of your arrogant narcissistic behavior.

I shall continue to conduct my 1st amendment rights, posting information I have discovered and educate people and give them more and more anecdotal information on this global cooling situation that has some.

Everyone on this board knows you hassle people. You get your kicks by putting down people.

Does that make you feel big? Makes you feel like a man? Makes you feel superior?

I don't really give a dam what you think.

But I do think you need to seek some professional help because your narcissism is to the level where a person really should be medicated.

So KMA and if you don't wish to read my posts don't. I don't really care.

ray, I provide anecdotal information on a daily basis which backs up my statements on Global Cooling and the mini-ice age we are entering into.

You can go independently research the significant reduction in sun spot activity. Instead of thousands of sunspots over a period of time we are down to a handful. We have the lowest sunspot activity since 1812 and currently are dipping down even more and the experts in London and Moscow, and New Deli say that at the current rate of decline in sun spots we will match the Maunder Minimum by 2030.

You can read Wikipedia by simple Googling Maunder Minimum and look at that link.

Also check out Ice Age Now Info and you will find:

A new model of the Sun’s 11-year heartbeat suggests that solar activity will fall by 60 per cent during the 2030s, dropping to conditions last seen during the Maunder minimum.

Beginning in about 1645, the Maunder minimum corresponded with the severest portion of the last “Little Ice Age.”

Results of the new study were to be presented yesterday by Prof Valentina Zharkova at the National Astronomy Meeting in Llandudno.

Many solar physicists think the solar cycle is driven by a dynamo caused by convecting fluid deep within the Sun. However, when Zharkova and her colleagues added a second dynamo close to the surface, they found that it completed the picture with unprecedented accuracy.

“Our predictions showed an accuracy of 97%,” said Zharkova.

The model predicts that the waves from the two dynamos will become increasingly offset during Cycle 25, which peaks in 2022. During Cycle 26, from about 2030 to 2040, the two waves will become exactly out of synch, leading to a significant reduction in solar activity.

“In cycle 26, the two waves exactly mirror each other – peaking at the same time but in opposite hemispheres of the Sun. Their interaction will be disruptive, or they will nearly cancel each other. We predict that this will lead to the properties of a ‘Maunder minimum’,” said Zharkova. “Effect
