  • Will tnxp share price rise as we approach trial release? Since I'm kind of surprised it hasn't already, I'll say "no". Then again, I'm almost always wrong, so maybe the answer is "yes". What to do, what to do?

Ok, I'll give you win-win on company failure but if it succeeds, uncle Seth will jump into the big leagues. His children's children would be wealthy. And don't think for one moment he doesn't realize that.

I agree it is not a significant amount of cash. However, if you think about it, Seth already has his financial future riding on the success/failure of TNXP. If anything, he should be diversifying in case things don't turn out. Instead, he continues to add more to the bet. I don't read these insider buys as an indication of positive inside information, but I do interpret it as an absence of negative information.

  • Uncle Seth bot 8,000 shares for 2.44 bringing his current holdings to over 400,000 shares.

Tonix should start popping up on insider buying tracking reports which hopefully will lift pps going into Q2 binary event.

    Super Mario

Sorry. I used to day trade at work. One day I entered 50,000 shares for a buy when I meant 5000. Trading systems weren't as sophisticated back then and it let the trade go through. My admin pulled me out of a meeting to advise me there was a very serious person trying to reach me from brokerage company. They gave me until end of trading day to cover or they would sell the purchased shares at prevailing price and close my account. Within the next couple hours, the stock went up $.08 and I sold for $4000 gain.

Too bad this error didn't work out as favorable.

I like the CFO hire becasue if they had gone outside for a heavyweight, it would have cost the shareholders in the form of options and grants as part of exec package. If the science works, they won't need a CFO, they will need an investment banker (to sell the company) and if the science doesn't work, they will need a janitor (to turn off the lights after they sweep the building).

I recall in one of the recent PR, Seth said they had enough cash to last into 2017. Sorry, don't have time to look for link. I sure hope that if they feel compelled to sell more stock, they at least wait until favorable results are reported on PTSD trial, and hopefully PPS is well north of $5.

PPS has dropped $1.20 since TNXP announced failed trial for tension headache. There are 18 million shares outstanding. Therefore, market cap dropped $21 million on a failed trial that cost $7 million. Seems a little disproportionate.

Does Technology Partners not show up as an institution? I checked Nadaq web site prior to posting and they were not on prior report so I assumed new. What source do you use to track?

Interesting new institution ownership. Probably explains the small pop today.

After I posted my question, I realized the insiders would be disincented to purchase shares at this time becasue we are likely in the window during which option grants are priced. They don't want the pps to increase until after they are awared stock and options.

I'm curious whether tnxp is inside a "lockout period" thus preventing insiders from purchasing shares.

I compared tnxp (down 37% YTD) to the four other bios I own and none are down like tnxp. But, I concede that is a poor sample size so I compared to Bio ETFs. Most of the large ones are not down as much as tnxp (e.g. fidelity biotech advisory fund down 27%) but close. What funds do you look at for comparison?

I do take some comfort that tnxp is generally following the sector, and more important, I believe tnxp has more upside than the overall sector given the 3 upcoming trial releases.

What I think may have happened - lets assume you are a portfolio manager with a bio portfolio. You've been instructed to reduce your portfolio by 20% (becasue bio is out of favor at this time). As you are selecting the holdings you will sell, you notice that the tnxp CFO has resigned, Hmmm, seems like good excuse to lighten up on tnxp. Only time (and information leakes) will tell if this was an ominous warning or not.

Buying shares of PQ is like buying options - you are betting that NG prices will rise before PQ runs out of $. I am out and not getting back in.

I'm a little relieved that Gershell is staying on as a consultant (for a while). At the very least, that implies he was not terminated for cause. Best case is he needed time in as consultant to cash out on options vesting.
