  • Very positive news out at the end of a long and successful bear raid.
Should see some significant upside today IMO

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • CIMT had 43 Million in sales last year and has a PE of 19 vs VJETS PE of ??? 50?, 60?
and they're in the low margin HARDWARE side of the equation.
Conclusion: CIMT revalued at 18.00 per share on a relative valuation WITHOUT taking high margin software business vs low margin hardware into consideration.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Yahoo has their own bots that delete accounts once a certain threshold of "abuse" complaints have been met. It's not much, but it does serve to act as just as much of a nuisance as our abuser puts on us as he's then required to create yet another 6 accounts.

EXAS is still on the "do not short" list. No shares are available at IB - fwiw

While I agree with Najarian, there are more forces at work here than meets the eye. The bigger aspect by my way of thinking is the foreign exposure to places like Latin America, India and China. We have huge commitments from manufacturers in those regions, where the potential for double and even triple digit growth is the greatest. Im expecting revised guidance for Q1 2014 and a very positive upbeat investor call in Q4 of 2013. Who knows what direction this (now) thinly traded stock will go, but over a weekly time frame, there's clearly more money to be made from the upside than the downside over then next few quarters.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

As stated, consolidation is favorable; Builds inner strength.
Dont get impatient. Make a much better return by simply holding for a while.

  • Big Pharmaceutical company collaborators. This company has been around and doing business for years. It simply took them WAAAY to long to iron out the kinks in their non Opioid calcium channel blocker pain relieving compounds. Yesterdays news means that its HIGHLY likely that the Z160 drug candidate (one of dozens - all on the front burners) will be capable of stealing the lead from the over prescribed, addictive and often deadly Vicodin. This market alone could put ZLCS in the mid 20's within 18 months with fast track designation.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • I am hoping to "parlay" my winning streak . It doesn't seem like too long ago that I was purchasing 4000 shares of ACAD at 1.89 and it wasnt. In fact, less than a year.. Now I look at where I am and can hardly believe it. That move changed my life. Am I particularly skilled? Perhaps not. Maybe I just got lucky, but I've seen it before, I've witnessed the reactions and the disbelief when a low priced stock just takes off for what at the time appears to be insufficient cause. So, yes, I've felt how it feels.....and it felt JUST LIKE THIS!
Full Disclosure: I already had a few shares but as of today, I am in big (for me) - Long an additional 24,000 shares of ZLCS at 1.15 as of today 9/30/13

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • It's going to happen.

Yes, they want to avoid another "test" of bottom of what has been considered by most to be the worst economic storm in 100 years. They wish to go ahead and reward the have's by giving them "safe" high interest bearing investments while slamming the little guy who's got no savings, loads of debt and is still working in a part time, minimum wage job that replaced his full time job - you remember, the one with benefits and 3x the salary he currently "enjoys" part time. Yeah, the dam fed wants to keep the average Joe 33% bottom of Americans from going OFF of foodstamps, section 8 housing and welfare (their unemployment expired) and INTO a real job.

    HOW DARE THEY!
    Those dam dems!

I believe this was expressed as a way of emphasizing that Sequenom has made it clear that an injunction was requested multiple times, but ignored by Judge Illston, and that it's the court in large part that has materially and financially harmed SQNM and its owners perhaps beyond repair for failure to heed our requests and rightfully grant the injunction in a timely fashion. This should give us greater leverage when exacting damages, including punitive damages further down the line, although in many ways the damage is done.

I agree with drc88. Had he (the analyst at Benchmark who upgraded to $20 target today) issued the buy a dollar or two back, and we saw a substantial pop, there would have been little news in the interim to sustain the rise. Presently, we have an improving socio-political climate as well as a NEAR TERM catalyst where there won't be much room for manipulators to drive the stock down to meet their short covering goals.

    crpnebula,
You must be a daytrader. Im looking at a daily chart and it looks like Benchmarks timing couldn't be better. In fact if you check it out, you'll see that it's clear sailing all the way up to around 15.10

  • It'll get there. Think AMGEN

  • I've seen it before with these drug development stocks when the markets get a whiff they've got a winner on their hands. This one will be bigger than most as there is such a huge market for pain killers yet the main drugs available are highly addictive and unsafe. ZLCS is seeking to rectify these problems.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

The stock was priced with a similar market at that time. Recently EXAS traded at 13.70
Currently, EXAS still has no product on the market, yet many consider their soon to be approved by the FDA, Cologuard test, to be a slam dunk with doctors and hospitals soon.

ZLCS on the verge of taking over the Vicodin market. TENS OF BILLIONS PER YEAR.
We are nearing completion of the study referenced below:
Zalicus’s most advanced preclinical ion channel product candidate, Z944, a novel T-type calcium channel blocker, has been selected to advance into IND-enabling toxicology studies prior to the initiation of a Phase 1 study in 2011. Z212 and multiple other preclinical compounds have been identified and are being evaluated for additional clinical starts in 2011.

In the paper entitled, “A novel slow-inactivation-specific ion channel modulator attenuates neuropathic pain,” Hildebrand et al., PAIN (2011), pre-published online (doi:10.1016/j.pain.2010.12.035), Zalicus researchers describe the design, synthesis and activity of the unique sodium channel pain blocking compound Z212 to preferentially attenuate hyperexcitable neurons while largely sparing normally firing neurons.

“By targeting the sodium channels in the peripheral and central nociceptive signaling pathways through its unique mechanism of action, Z212 has the potential to become a safe and effective treatment for chronic inflammatory and neuropathic pain,” commented Mark H.N. Corrigan, MD, President and CEO of Zalicus. “With the addition of selected sodium channel targets to its screening platform Zalicus continues to utilize its considerable expertise in ion channels to develop a pipeline of novel, orally available agents that address these attractive targets for pain intervention.”

Improved Calcium and Sodium Channel Blockers through Electrophysiological Screening

Our industry leading selective ion channel modulation platform allows us to identify product candidates that harness the potential of targeting calcium and sodium channels. Zalicus utilizes proprietary drug design and electrophysiological screening processes to create drug candidates with improved levels of specificity and mechanisms of action, potentially leading to greatly enhanced safety and tolerability.

Agreed. ENTR in the wrong hands would cost BRCM one hell of a lot more than 8.00 per share. It could do that much damage each and every year if say, a QCOM and ENTR joined forces.

This is about more than just new possible markets, it's about their motive; the reason WHY they chose our SOC's for their STB will be a compelling story in ALL of our markets in the months ahead. Stay tuned for similar reports out of Latin America and China. In the meantime we've got the cable companies right here in the good ol US of A doing a dance as they transition to UNbundled services. Content providers will be left in the dust once people realize that you don't need a cable box to get FREE ADVERTISER SUPPORTED TV, so the Big 4 had better just resign themselves to the fact that THEIR REVENUE COMES FROM ADVERTISING- NOT CABLE COMPANY PASS THRU ADD ON FEES! DO YOU HEAR ME CBS???

  • This barring an unforeseen "macro economic events".
