Thanks for the comments. Last year with the Bush tax cuts hanging fire lots of companies either paid their dividends early or paid special dividends or both. For example, Costco (a great company which pays a nominal dividend) made a special payment last December (ironic as the prior CEO is a strong democrat and spoke at the democratic convention but he looked out for himself and his shareholders to the detriment of Obama and the tax system by paying the qualified dividend under the 2012 tax rates).
I missed the conference call. The past two years DAKT has paid handsome special dividends. Was there any information this year on the CC about one this year? I assume that with the new quarterly dividend they will no longer pay the special dividends. Any comments?
