    Split coming IMHO

Have you noticed how many stocks are now trading at above $50 to $100 per share? What has happened? The cost of buying 100 shares of most major companies has soared to about ten thousand and above. Does anyone do stock splits any more? AAPL was the last I've seen.

Not likely. The prices have risen so fast in the last two years- far faster than the rise in incomes - so I doubt there's much buying pressure left. There are inland parts of California that have not recovered as fast as the coastal areas but I believe the party is over. Decent profits from building new homes but no bonanza. Attracted by the dividend. See no reason not to love a shipping company that has routes to Hawaii. The Jones Act is the great fence around this company's business.

I agree - I hope the Directors and CEO are being "paid" in stock options. I'm estimating that the Santa Fe Southern Railroad adventure is selling enough tickets per day to meet all direct operating costs that running the excursions require. That's the good news. Obviously XTRN cannot add $1,000,000 per quarter of admin / marketing /prof fees etc for the rest of the company to the mix and expect to be profitable.

SANTA FE, NM--(Marketwired - Sep 2, 2014) - X Train Holdings Corporation (the "Company"), (OTCQB: XTRN) announced today that ticket sales on the newly operating Santa Fe Southern Railway with the Club X Train cars has climbed to record daily numbers for the Company since opening operations in July of 2014. To date, the Company has generated the sale of over 1,000 tickets and surpassed its projected revenue for this time period. With the holidays around the corner, the Company has booked many days in December with company Christmas parties and holiday train rides catering to families. We plan for the Holiday Express Train to have carolers singing and an area where children can have their pictures taken with Santa.

  • "Earlier this month, the company moved a rail car that it had refurbished in Las Vegas for its planned Southern California runs to New Mexico.

Penny White, president and chief operations officer of X Train Holdings, said the New Mexico train tour has been wildly popular in the company’s first month of operations.

Trains operate Wednesdays through Sundays, twice a day. White said each train holds 90 passengers and the company plans to operate once a day during the winter."

I wonder what the break-even number of passengers per train is required to cover fuel, cooking, and employee wages cost per train so the extra revenue can go to XTRN's bottom line?
