Well I was wrong- even a decent earnings report couldn't move this stock. It was decent- not great, except if you're Ralph Garcea and you gush about how great a quarter it was on the call. Well I'm not gunning for their IB and brokerage business like CF is, so I'm gonna say that the debt level- which is being increased- is keeping this stock price down in spite of the dividend increase and NCIB. Nobody trusts this group anymore, so nobody's buying. Hey Ralph- why don't you ask these guys why they refuse to move to a legitimate stock exchange? Does CF have more fun buying those NCIB shares on the Venture?
Looks like nothing else is going to move this stock after the ridiculous offer from the founders group to swap the common for the preferred. It's all about earnings and outlook at this point, which is the way it should be. Enough with the financial gimmicks to juice the stock.
