It's hard to get shares. Had a hard time getting 1,500 last week, and couldn't get 1,000 today, and it went below my limit price.
I read about the Airvana acquisition and was going to ask you specifically about it. Do you know whether the are a direct competitor to Westell for this type of equipment, or do they offer different equipment that brings cell data indoors? Do you think Commscope would want a company like Westell in addition to Airvana?
I have to say that I have been skeptical about the prospects of this latest iteration of the company. My stance has been that they can make all the great products they want, but without people who want to buy those products it is pointless. They seem to now be more focused on getting their message out about their products. Hopefully the company is now finally open to a buyout if that is even a possibility now or in the future.
I read that CAF part and found it interesting as well. One question - and I should know this for as long as I have owned this stock, but - is Verizon a Westell Customer?
Yes, we know these carriers have to bake a pie and that they have to divide it up. The question is whether or not Westell is going to get any of that pie, and if they are, how big that piece is going to be. If they don't get a portion, it doesn't matter how big it is.
Also, if they get these done and we do in fact achieve 30mm by year end, is there a prediction for share price range? TIA
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Are you concerned that they have not provided an update on the acquisitions? Do you anticipate that these will get done?
