Neshua, I did not get a retort from you. So disappointing, as I cancelled "my white racist Tea Party meeting", put the hood and cross" back in the closet, just so I could be available for your learned response, and you say nothing in response.
Please be more respectful of my time, as the holidays are approaching and it is getting ever more difficult to get the white racist to meet so late in the year.
Pure leftist propaganda nick. If the allies had bugged out of Europe and the South Pacific before the job was complete and stable governments had a chance to establish after ww2 , would you then blame Woodrow Wilson for getting involved in the first place?
Nick, At the time of PH, we were doing much more than sitting on the sidelines. You know better than that.
But we were a rather pacifist nation at the time, WWI was not yet a distant memory.
Kids are getting bigger every generation..., must be those darn antibiotics and steroids in chicken..., no, in goat.
No rumble, the country needs it's jagged little pill. We need to let it play out. Nothing to gain by impeaching the first mix race caucasian-european/black-african president. Such action would be foolish.
Whip, Based on his consistent actions as president, and his childhood history, I would not be surprised to see him convert to another religion at some point in his life.
Man, is that statement/prediction going to set off a few on this board.
It is rare that one gets everything wrong. I am certain that I can mostly agree with that quote, and I am sure I can agree with BHO on a few issues, maybe, but that does not change the fact that I am almost completely opposed to his way of thinking.
Nice retort though.
Neshua, "Oh! so Christian Muslims would be welcomed"
What? A hybrid form of Muslim religion? Oh this is not going to make ISIS happy, no sir, not at all.
Neshua, our liberty loving welcoming society has no obligation to welcome people of ideologies that refuse to respect that which make us a free people.
At what point is a particular religion no longer compatible with a free society? At what point does a religion no longer qualify for equal protection? If those within a particular religion refuse to reject barbaric ideology within their religion, or religious sub-group, how long before free societies demand the rejection of certain religions within free societies?
It's a fair question. And a question those who tacitly support such ideology should ponder. A question who's time has arrived. A question that societies with the desire to remain open to all religion must now ask of themselves. At what point is a particular religion no longer compatible with a free society?
Your freedom of religion applies so long as your religion does not interfere with others life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness.
We have no obligation to self-destruct our society and our liberties by inviting those who are diametrically opposed to our existence.
Fug, it is true, Woodrow Wilson was a racist, among many other negative things.
But he was also a leftist elitist. Not sure how the students will square all that.
That said, the practice of universities or anyone attempting to purge us of our history is completely disturbing.
Much like attempting to purge the south of their history and their history's symbols that have different meanings to different people for different reasons.
Common ground? I think so.
Frank, we need to let him fulfill his terms in office so that we, the American people, will have full measure of his folly in office. So that maybe we could wait several generations before we do something so foolish again.
That said, it may be difficult to survive his final year in office.
"Panetta writes that he warned Obama of the danger of withdrawing all U.S. troops from Iraq: “My fear, as I voiced to the President and others was that if the country split apart or slid back into the violence that we’d seen in the years immediately following the U.S. invasion, it could become a new haven for terrorists to plot attacks against the U.S.” But when he and Obama’s military commanders recommended keeping 24,000 troops, “the President’s team at the White House pushed back, and the differences occasionally became heated.” The White House, Panetta says, was “so eager to rid itself of Iraq that it was willing to withdraw rather than lock in arrangements that would preserve our influence and interests.” Now, “the ISIS offensive in 2014 greatly increases the risk that Iraq will become al-Qaeda’s next safe haven. That is exactly what it had in Afghanistan pre-9/11.”"
Leon Panetta’s Worthy Fights, page 392-4:
"Michele Flournoy did her best to press that position, which reflected not just my views but also those of the military commanders in the region and the Joint Chiefs. But the president’s team at the White House pushed back, and the differences occasionally became heated. Flournoy argued our case, and those on our side of the debate viewed the White House as so eager to rid itself of Iraq that it was willing to withdraw rather than lock in arrangements that would preserve our influence and interests."
Cujo, how Joseph Goebbels of you.
In order for your analogy to make sense, a portion of the Jewish refugees of the late 30's, fleeing war torn Europe, would also have to be #$%$ sympathizing, antisemitic Jewish refugees, willing to kill their potential American and Cuban host.
Go back to the drawing board you commie leftist puke.

"Three people claiming to be Islamic State supporters stabbed a Jewish teacher in Marseille, France, less than a week after the Paris massacre, prosecutors told Sky News Wednesday.
They said they expected the teacher to survive.
It was unclear whether the attackers were linked to the suspects in Friday's massacre, which killed more than 120 people and left hundreds of others wounded. France has been on high alert since the attack, and lawmakers are considering extending the country's state of emergency for three months."

"Police in Honduras caught five Syrians who were trying to make their way to the United States with stolen and doctored passports, a police spokesman in Tegucigalpa told Reuters Wednesday.
The Syrians had no apparent link to the attackers in Paris, police said. The stolen passports were reportedly Greek.
At least one suspect in Friday's massacre had reportedly entered Europe with a fake Syrian passport.
The suspects in Honduras were in police custody, and had flown to the country from Costa Rica, according to Reuters. They were trying to arrive in the U.S. by land, presumably by traveling through Mexico, the police spokesman added."
Well Cy, It's continues to be official, one of the attackers in France is a Syrian Refugee, who traveled through Greece in Oct of 2015.
Like Obama, you sticking to your failed thinking?
BHO is really being taken to task for his lack of action against ISIS, and his JV team comments. The media is taking it to the president, and his "No we did not underestimate the ability of ISIS" comment today.
