I sure hope they sold their stake in RSOL this morning. That would be quiet a windfall from this small company. RSOL is tracking down fast.
If you really want to know if Qsymia will be successful, go on line and read the reviews from people that have tried it. You can have the largest sales force in the world but until people try a drug and tell their friends about it, the drug will go no where. There are some very positive reviews from actual users that indicate to me that Qsymia will be successful. Don't believe the junk you read on this message board, go see what users are saying. There are millions of overweight folks that are look for what VIVUS has to offer. It may take six more months to make Qsymia a household name but it will happen.
I started Vacespa a little over a month ago and I have lost 6 pounds. Don't know if Vacespa had anything to do with it but was just wondering if anyone else has lost weight since taking Vacespa? I have been trying to lose a few pounds since January but haven't had any luck until the last two weeks. I am also taking Zetia which I started taking at the same time I began taking Vacespa so I am not sure if either of these drugs effect weight lost and that is why I am asking.
I guess the stock will not go up until the dead have risen. That's about all that is left once the blind begin to see. Can't understand why the world isn't aware of ACTC's great news. I just knew that once ACTC proved that the cells were working this stock would light up. Something just doesn't make sense.
It will take three months from the time a person takes Vascepa until they get their blood work done and get the results to see if Vascepa works for them. On this board I have only see one post where a person has reported the results of their first blood work after taking Vascepa and it was very positive. Once people begin to see the results and start telling their friends, this stock will fly in my opinion. I have been on Vascepa for 30 days and I will get my first results in July. I will then know first hand if Vascepa works for me and whether I should sell or buy more shares. Can't wait. I would really like to hear from anyone else as they get their results.
My doctor told me that Vacespa was more expensive than Lovaza but he was WRONG. I paid $254 for Lovaza and only paid $214 for Vacespa. My doctor also told me that Vacespa was just another fishoil. He was wrong about that also. If you believe everything your doctor tells you you are in serious trouble. Doctors are so busy trying to make a living that they don't have time to stay up to date on new drugs. Not bashing my doctor, he's a good hard working man. Since I invest in new drugs, I spend 50 times the hours researching new drug than he does.
You sound like my friends, they are always asking questions that they themselves could look up on their computers. I tell them, "Why don't you buy a computer so you can look up answers yourself and you wouldn't have to ask others to do your work for you". Believe it or not, most write me back and say "I never thought about looking it up". Even people that know how to operate a computer can be brain dead at time.
I sold my ARNA and bought more VVUS. Anyone else doing the same?
Sold all my Arena and bought 1,000 more shares of VVUS. I got in Arena at $4.35 so I have been here awhile and hate to leave but VVUS is already on the market and is more effective. My opinion is that people will go for the most effective rather than the safest. Good luck to all of you that are still holding Arena.
Why are they withholding earnings news? You don't give a date, extend the date by one day and then say absolutely nothing. What's up?
I own both VVUS and ARNA so I am not bashing either. However, ARNA had better start greasing some palms to get their drug on the market. If not, doctors will be prescribing VVUS's drug and both the doctors and the patients will not be interested in changing to another weight loss drug. The news is great for all FDA approved weight loss drugs. VVUS should do very well today.
Determining if a person's vision has improved is very simple to prove. We have had several years of injecting patients and we have proven that the process is safe and now we just need to show that the process works. I don't see (pun intended) proving that ACTC's cell improve vision. The only question remaining is how many cells are need to get the best results. Why would the FDA not want to get this process on the market to help the seeing impaired in the world? We are a lot closer now that ever before to be able to help the blind. Go ACTC.
Go look at all the new laws that have passed or are being passed requiring that only tamper Resistant drugs must be issued if available. This could get interesting once folks understand what that means and that ACUR is way ahead of others.
1. Doctors will do what the insurance companies and medicare/medicaid tells them to do and I am betting those folks will recommend doctors do what is cheaper.
2. I had rather poop in a bucket than to drink two gallons of soap, spend hours in the bathroom and go thru another colonoscopy.
I got a 30 day prescription today from Walmart through my United Healthcare insurance and my cost is $38 and change. I will have a 3 month followup on 7/15. I will let everyone know if my numbers change IF I don't forget.
Thanks for responding gunn7r. I appreciate your thoughts. I will be watching the earning of all companys between now and May 27th to try to get a clue as what to expect from LGF. I would expect fair earnings for LGF but maybe the market itself will be heading down and I will be able to get back in at or near earnings. Have you looked at SRPT? I got in at $27 and it is moving up very well to $40. It is highly risky but may be a nice play.
The current thinking is that the more people we cover under insurance the lower the premiums. Here is an idea, why not stop providing FREE medical coverage to 50 million people and make them buy insurance policies like most of us Americans have been doing for years. Get a job, pay your bills and stop sucking the life out of America. Just a thought. This would probably end the problems we have with high cost of food and college also. The government was not designed to provide half the country with fee stuff.
I live in NC and I love what the government is doing. Basically, they are fixing the things that the Dems have messed up over the past 100 years. Our past governor was a joke, the one before that was a #$%$ and they all have been anti business and did all they could to give people that refused to work everything they asked for. The Republican government is a much needed and welcome change. Here are somethings that they have done or are trying to do. They are increasing the number of charter schools to allow parents to chose what type education their children will be exposed to, they are trying to eliminate vehicle inspections because a 2008 report indicated that they are useless (NC is one one of 16 states that still have the inspection requirement), they are looking at doing away with the State income tax for individuals and corporations. I could go on and on. We finally have a government that is moving forward and fixing our problems. As for voting law changes, there is nothing wrong with asking people to produce a photo ID in order to vote. Go read they bill, the legislation is doing all they can to be fair and will assist anyone that needs help in obtaining a photo id. I just wish they would pass a law that voter ID would be required for any social assistance or to obtain any state or federal benefits. I would also like to see a requirement to check addresses for all food stamp recipients. It would be interesting to see how many different people are receiving food stamps at the same address.
Thanks for your reply but as an investor, I am not comfortable making investments in a company based on "hints". Either there have been improvements or there hasn't been any improvements. I would like to see the company rein Lanza in or come out with a medical paper saying what they have seen at each level of injections.
