    TKS, Bud...I will investigate DM....

  • Future dropdowns should catapult this much higher I think.
Looking to buy Mark's favorite, ETE on weakness...
    KMI sucks...
Bought WFC today as well as more BAC.....interest rates are going up sooner or later, and these banks are
the place to be when that happens.

Very true....again, my market timing is impeccable....bought in at $7.74 on the spin off news....I had better put a stop loss in....

I am long and strong question is this.

When does going it alone become more expensive and less effective than working out a partnership with one of the top dogs? Would you rather see more dilution in the future, or less dilution, some money in advance and a nice payment plan based on meeting certain criteria?
    Just asking.....

Yes, its a Ponzi scheme at best....but some day the piper must be just can't run deficits forever, and that includes the some gold, here....I am...GGN, GG, CEF. just some insurance....I just keep buying BAC and JPM during this mess...seems to be working.

If the EU throws more money away funding Greece's over paid populace, what kind of message does that send to Spain and Italy, who are also in the same boat, though not to the same extent....I think Germany is the deciding factor....and I think they are feed up and not willing to support a sinking ship like Greece anymore.
Just my opinion....hope I'm wrong, because the stock market will not take that news favorably.

    the Stagg and Mark show

That's a little much, Mark....lets all act like adults here. Everyone is just trying to make a few bucks, so lets all leave our egos behind and treat each other with respect. We all don't have to agree, and that's the best part of this board.....You, me, STAGG, Sarge, DH, Keebon, Vinny, etc, all have different ideas and thoughts....there is value in everyone's opinion. Lets play nice.

    RB Gambler....

I know you and DH are smarter than I am...but, I have a feeling the Fed is hell bent on raising rates regardless of jobs reports, or anything else. I think our girl Janet really feels that the market has gotten too frothy and that its the Fed's responsibility to slow it down...also, and even scarier than that is I feel she thinks that a soaring market is increasing the distance in wealth between the wealth 1%, and the rest of America, particularly the middle class, and the elderly. She wants to slow down the market, and help all those people in CD's and a few thousand dollars in MM funds, to reap the benefits of higher interest income. Its that whole concept of redistribution of wealth that the current administration is trying to accomplish as well.....I just get the feeling that that's why they are determined to "normalize" (whatever that means) interest rates.

LOL....thanks Sarge and Keebon...I appreciate the comments, and I always try to bring something worth while to the conversation. I am not as technical as Mark, nor as level headed as STAGG...I react and sometimes over react to how I feel about a situation, company or trend....those intuitive senses have saved me allot of money over the years....sometimes my quick trigger finger has me selling too soon, but usually never too late, which can really cost you money.
Take care guys, and as STAGG says, Good Investing!

You are probably right on KMI...I just don't like the hype and all the love it its the best investment in the is not, IMO....lousy divvy doesn't suck...but I won't buy it.

KMI I said. ...thanks, STAGG...I looked at your real time data on PSEC...everything looked pretty good to me...I was surprised it is indicating a SELL....strange. I guess I don't understand the metrics. I do understand this...not much risk here at $7.74.

Stay away from energy MLP' BAC, JPM on the down days like this one!!

Keep up the good work, the interchange with Mark...he is smart, but he doesn't know everything...I am not very bright, but I sell losers immediately, and I stay away from bad trends....oil/gas is in about as bad a trend as you will find right now, and I have no positions. Interest rates are going up, no matter what we think, and REITs are taking a hit...out of most of them now as well.... Looking to get back into you high Divy ETF's when the smoke cleats, but not now!!

Call me crazy, but I am GREEN today because of my shares in ADXS! (Wish I had kept all the shares I sold, but they were keeping me awake at night worrying about them!)

Bet Mark can't say that....just teasing Mark...but there is more than one way to skin a cat and make money, even on a day like today!!

In case you haven't noticed, the market is down over 100 pts.....that's why...just hold on to it and collect the div.....

  • If the EU rejects all proposals, we will all have bigger problems than PSEC....I have been liquidating undesirables, like CHK, VALE, ETP, NGL, ARR, and AGNC for a couple of weeks now...hiding money in, GGN, BAC and JPM...when the market goes back up, these two banks will shine......KMI sucks, by the way.....low divvy, and over hyped....the Shell MLP is much better, if you are inclined to buy any, which I am not at this point.

    OT: MLPs selling off

    by marklibera Jun 3, 2015 1:47 PM
    rbgambler99 rbgambler99 Jun 4, 2015 11:32 AM Flag

True, Mark.....but I don't think I can lose much buying at $7.74...but, I have been wrong before, and I will be wrong again.
I don't like the BDC space at all, due to pending rise in interest rates...I like PSEC as an over sold, somewhat value play, in that the sum of the parts looks to be worth more that $7.74....hopefully the spin offs will prove profitable....good luck to you as well, Stagg.....get on the BAC/ JPM bandwagon....they are both going much higher, while oil/gas MLPs are going lower....all IMHO....

  • Sell your oil and Gas MLP's and buy them....price of oil and NG continue to fall....I only have NMM and KNOP left....stuff has to move no matter what the price of the commodity is.

O/T.....ADXS continues to rocket will go past $30, very soon....
