Increased self esteem, less tobacco abuse, less alcohol use, lower lipids, lower blood pressure, increased exercise. I will have to admit to a patient with nausea that resolved with stopping Belviq.
Please accept my apology. I have given Belviq to 429 patients now per my Electronic Medical Records. There is no reason not to try it in any patient. Makes it very easy. I think it is part of my preventive care.
I really think they are doing it correctly. Focus on Primary Care. Educate Physician. Then increase DTC. Patient will then ask. It is slow, but bringing a weight loss drug back on the market not that easy due to Phen Fen. Massive sales out the gate was never going to happen, but
long term Blockbuster. It will be like Lipitor and Viagra. Then only thing I know about is healthcare, but it is clear to me what will happen. Key is to get each physician to write 5 scripts. That will allow M. D. to see first hand safety and benefit. After that we all have 750 patient that need to try it. Then comes the parabolic curve.
I saw this young lady who had lost 75 lbs. in 6 mo. today. 31% TBW on Belviq. The thing that might interest you is that there is this subset of patient that do extremely well. Over half loose weight, but about 15% of the patients that you give it to have this incredible response. Brains are different. People over eat for different reasons. Good Luck trying to stop the drug on these folks. So, at least 15 % overweight people in the world will take this drug a virtually any cost indefinitely. They just need the chance to try it.
P.S. Total of 8 on 18.75 mg of phenteramine with Belviq. All responding nicely, but still not as well as the 15% group listed above.
I tried to give the man some advice. If he wants to make a living being an "analyst", he really needs to move on to something else. The weekly articles talking about leaves on the trees and not the forest will not serve him well. He is starting to look silly. His reaction to criticism is not good, and he should try to be more professional. He didn't like that. It is a little sad. I wish him well, but he is not doing very well at the moment.
I know you are anxious but be nice. You got a little dip it looks like. So go ahead and cover. It is going to get much worse.
The use of this drug is breaking out. Almost every primary care M.D. around here knows about this drug and is starting to write it. That is a problem for the shorts. Step two: Step up DTC advertising and patients start asking for the drug. Suprise, Doctor knows about. It is safe. Doctor says o.k. That is a problem for the shorts. There is a great deal of junk about side effects on this Board. Suprise, there are no side effects. That is a problem for the shorts. Belviq is being combined with phenteramine. Start Belviq. Give half dose of Phenteramine for first three months. Continue Belviq indefinitely. This combo activity will increase by a factor of a 100 within two months once the safety data is released. No FDA approval needed. I don't think they plan to get it. ARENA and EISAI know exactly what they are doing. That is a problem for the shorts. Belviq works for smoking cessation, other substance abuse, fatty liver, diabetes, metabolic syndrome. That is a problem for the shorts. The pipeline is by far their worst problem, and I can't tell if they know it ? The script numbers will continue with a rapid rise now. The HF/MM attempts to manipulate the stock will soon be futile. Maybe it already is? They must know. Are they stupid? This is done. Arena has a Blockbuster Drug. Likely the first of many.
It looks to me that they don't have much to manipulate with. Weak effort in premarket. Atleast today ARNA seems to have behaved as one would expect this stock to trade. Assuming I know what I am looking at. I know they haven't covered very much, but they don't seem to be trading back and forth so much to their different accounts??
Bel-Phen already being used. Safety data will cause it to explode. Arena knows what they are
doing. No control arm . Get safety data out ASAP. Sure will beat contrave, if contrave makes it.
Cardiovascular still a problem for Contrave.
Sounded to me they may be looking at an early partners in their pipeline. All have strong potential. Wait for the Up Front payments coming soon.
Congratulations to you and your physician. I bet next time you see him it will be 200+. See how anyone can give it a try.
This is how it works. The doctor has to reach a comfort level. If he or she writes the first script they have to read
about the drug. Usually internet or there is a monthly new medication letter that many subscribe to. Drug rep helps, but seldom go with just that. The package Inserts have become legal protection #$%$ and quickly make their way to the garbage. If writes one script Doc has to realize how safe it is. At first doesn't care about responders vs. non responders. Just doesn't want to hurt anyone. Then there is script 2,3,4,5. Gets some positive feedback (and maybe some negative feedback). Doc knows any drug doesn't work for eveyone. It is all about safety. Soon every fat person you walk in the exam room and see becomes :"let's try this." Patients always follow with a rapid yes. The thing is there is no fat person that doesn't deserve a try. Every primary care Doc you can get to write just one may very well find in 6 months they have written 500 scripts. "HECK", it may be more. It happened to me. I have hurt no patient. Either works or it doesn't, but it is suprisingly a very good Drug. I wish I could collect the ton of fat I have removed and mail to one of these short hedge funds that are tryig to drag this company down.
I know you folks think are some goofy guy. The truth is I am the largest prescriber in a 3 state region. I am very aware of exactly what is happening with the script spread. I don't want to risk anyone knowing by identity for obvious reasons, but I can help if you listen.
Be nice and tell the truth. You will feel better at the end of the day.
Save your money. You will start to see nice growth. I see it. Belviq reps say it. If you less to the cc they said it. Arena's partner said it. Doesn't matter to me, but i am tired of these shorts trying to drag down one of the best things that has happened in health care in years.
Do you think they all wrote them the same day or something. Try checking total number of scripts written and think about it.
You have some serious anger issues. Should see a Psychiatrist.
