"We are thrilled about closing out the year with the addition of a new retail partner for Edible Garden, particularly one of Fairway's caliber," says Derek Peterson, CEO Terra Tech Corp. "Fairway is known for their commitment to local farmers and to providing the freshest locally-grown produce to its customers. Our farm is within a one-hour drive to the majority of Fairway's locations, allowing us to offer a product that is fresh and locally-grown year round."
The company expects to ship their first order by the close of business today. Edible Garden is actively pursuing additional retail partners to fill out their new 5-acre facility, which they expect to be online by the end of the year. In addition the company has been experimenting with new produce in an effort to broaden their offerings to both current and potential retail partners. Edible Garden’s goal is to revolutionize the way we feed our planet. Exploitative farming practices put an unfair burden on natural resources and diminish arable land at an alarming rate. As a whole we must change the way we interact with our environment, both for the health of our planet and the health of our bodies. Edible Garden does its part by blending “technology and nature in perfect harmony”. We supplement the latest in hydroponic technologies with mother nature in order to achieve a symbiotic relationship with our natural environment. Our methods allow us to recycle water, avoid soil fumigation, deter nutrient and fertilizer runoff, as well as mitigate energy usage to produce a product that is better for our planet and better for your family.
We are looking to partner with farmers across the country who is interested in cultivation using the Edible Garden methods. A partnership with Edible Garden opens up unique relationships with stores and vendors looking for sustainable and locally grown produce. Edible Garden will provide our partners with training and support on an ongoing basis. Our goal is simple, to create a nationally recognized brand of high quality, responsible products cultivated by local growers. Together we can effect change!

    About Terra Tech
Terra Tech Corp. (TRTC) through its wholly-owned subsidiary GrowOp Technology, specializes in controlled environment agricultural technologies. The company integrates best-of-breed hydroponic equipment with proprietary software and hardware to provide sustainable solutions for indoor agriculture enterprises and home practitioners. Our complete product line is available at specialty retailers throughout the United States, and via our website. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Edible Garden, cultivates a premier brand of local and sustainably grown hydroponic produce, sold through major grocery stores such as Shoprite, Food Emporium and others throughout New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.
TRTC has had a rough 2013 but is ending the year with a nice bounce, almost doubling off of recent lows. The company announced another hydroponics produce distribution agreement and also named Fairway Market as a new customer. TRTC was initially focused on being an equipment provider, but, as CEO Derek Peterson explained in a webinar last week (slides here), it is positioning itself to grow marijuana and hemp legally as the laws permit. I continue to view this company as a relatively inexpensive call option given that the produce business should keep it cash flow positive in 2014 while it awaits regulatory change. Belvidere, Dec. 6, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Terra Tech Corp (TRTC) subsidiary Edible Garden, a hydroponic herb and produce cultivator, signed a distribution deal with GroRite Greenhouse and Garden Centers in May of this year. Under the terms of the agreement Edible Garden and GroRite planned to convert up to 35,000 square feet of greenhouse space at GroRite's retail location in Lincoln Park, New Jersey into a hydroponic cultivation facility. The companies have recently finished converting 8,000 square feet and are currently harvesting and packaging 4,500 living basil plants from the facility. The Edible Garden hydroponic basil will be shipped throughout the Northeast to their current retail partners.
"While finishing the construction of our flagship facility in Belvidere we were also able to complete another step in expanding our cultivation footprint," says Derek Peterson, CEO of Terra Tech Corp. "This facility came on line at the perfect time for us as demand for our products is high throughout the holiday season. We plan to continue converting the remaining 27,000 square feet and expect it to be operational in early 2014."
The Lincoln Park facility is situated within a few hours drive of the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania markets allowing them to efficiently service those areas with Edible Garden's fresh, living and locally grown produce. The operation is also conveniently located near the Hunts Point Produce Market, the largest produce market in the world, which serves an estimated 22 million people within a 50-mile radius. Edible Garden is currently seeding butterhead lettuce in the new space at Lincoln Park for sale and delivery to foodservice wholesalers through the market.
"While our primary focus has been grocers and other specialty retailers, we are beginning to cultivate products for wholesale into the food service industry. Having Manhattan just across the bridge gives us a major marketplace for servicing restaurants, hotels and other foodservice consumers as well," explains Ken Vande Vrede, COO of Terra Tech.

Locally-grown produce is now available at DeMoulas Market Basket throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Market Basket with over 70 grocery stores has established itself as a leading food retailing destination throughout the Northeast.

10-Butterball Lettuce, Arugula, Red Leaf Lettuce, Parsley, Basil, Dill, Tyme, Oregano, Cilantro, Mint, Chives, Ex.

    21-2012 $500k revenue
22-2013 $2,000,000 revenue guidance given soon to be reported within 6 weeks.
23-TRTC has 1 growing equipment store.
24-TRTC growing equipment can be found at dozens of retail partners across the country.
25-TRTC share holders went from 3,000 to 11,000 in the matter of a few months.

Everything Listed above is a FACT NONE ARE OPINIONS. These are most important when thinking about investing into TRTC.
Some observers warn of the emergence of “Big Marijuana” on par with “Big Tobacco,” “Big Pharma,” “Big Banks” and “Big Oil.” But so far, only a handful of public traded companies are involved. These companies are tiny, traded over-the-counter, and generally do not have their hands on the product — just the tools to help produce and distribute it, like GrowLife Inc. TRTC, FSPM, PLPE.
At this stage, anybody who throws out a number on legalized marijuana sales is throwing darts. But I will throw this one: Revenues will easily eclipse $1 billion in Colorado this year, which is still a lot of money in an economy dominated by small businesses. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ground floor, excellent risk/reward

********Terra Tech management continues aggressive deal-making and partnership agreements. 1)Terra Tech expanded upon my "hedge" when they signed a deal with Heartland Growers, who will develop a line of Edible Garden hydroponic produce that will be sold throughout the Midwest market. 2) Terra Tech signed a distribution agreement with Gro-Rite Greenhouse and gardens Center , whereby Terra completed the development of an 8000-square foot hydroponic grow facility to grow herbs and plants for retail distribution. The pair plan to develop an additional 27,000 square feet of hydroponic grow space in the early part of 2014. 3) In late January of 2014, Terra Tech announced the completion of their new five acre hydroponic green house. . This greenhouse project will allow for the expansion of the hydroponic line throughout the northeast corridor of the U.S. The projections are that each acre can produce up to two million dollars of produce annually to serve upwards of 12,000 retailers throughout the local market. 4) They have a strategic partnership with Inergetics….. They will combine Inergetics's proven expertise in successfully developing and marketing innovative nutritional supplements that help consumers lead better and healthier lives with Terra Tech Corp's agricultural expertise and established distribution network of dispensaries in legalized medical cannabis markets. TRTC has met the standards that I require for micro cap speculative investing:
    1. They are ARE FULLY REPORTING company
    2. They have a specified business plan
    3. They have immediate ACCESS TO CAPITAL
    4. The stock has a consistent VOLUME AND LIQUIDITY
    5. The company management communicates to shareholders on a regular basis
*** Inergenics has formulated and distributed major brands nationwide and their products have been endorsed by both athletes and celebrities giving us the confidence that we have selected a top tier development partner," said Terra Tech CEO Derek Peterson. "This partnership will allow both Terra Tech and Inergetics to reach a growing number of patients who turn to natural supplements to help manage pain, nausea and other debilitative symptoms." Inergetics' portfolio of brands includes: Martha Stewart(TM) Essentials, a complete line of whole-food based supplements created specifically for women; Surgex(R) Sports Nutrition, the preferred nutritional supplement of Army Sports; Bikini Ready(R), a leader in weight loss lifestyle solutions; and SlimTrim(TM), the affordable, premium value diet brand. Dr. Shao (NRTI ) has extensive experience in product research and development across many areas of health and wellness, specializing in pharmaceutical extraction methods and plant biochemistry – as well as formulating herbal and botanical nutritional products. He brings almost two decades of expertise in these fields working with a variety of global firms, including Glaxo Smith Kline, Wyeth (now Pfizer), and Merck, directing the launch of more than 30 innovative new products for these companies.

Wouldn't that be a case for FCEL and their Hydrogen plants/storage! That was a good post. WIND and SOLAR need storage and the IRON flow batteries and fuel cells could prosper. Most these guys don't understand that FCEL and their technology/ plants are a first step advantage play for huge hydrogen plants, infrastructure and service. They are on the second step of the ladder with plants operational and ready for a 3% royalties. This could be huge. The US would be more secure with alternative energy infrastructures' that can isolate different parts of the grid.

HOT sector, undervalued to margins, and not known. The majority of the market ignores the sector. Those who have done their DD are going nuts over it.
