YGE and Energy is a peculiar sector: It isn't a fad, it isn't going away, and it'll almost certainly have tremendous influence in the next several decades. YGE HAS AN UPGRADE AND ITS STOCK PRICE IS JUMPING FROM ITS OUT LOOK. From the roofs of major building to 1000 wind turbines in the IOWA, -alternative energy in happening worldwide. The CEO pointed the solar industry toward China and the U.S., saying, "Supported by a series of favorable policies issued recently, the China market is developing toward a more sound and steady direction of PV applications. Yingli has projects to the tune of around 130 MW for 2013, and we expect this to grow significantly in the next year. YGE had its margin rise continuously though 2013, aided by better pricing and higher utilization rates, which helped fixed-cost allocation
During Q3 2013, Yingli reported gross margins of around 14%, up from negative levels during the same quarter last year **DEC 2013- YGE among others won a 233 megawatt deal in Ageria….. NEW OUTLOOK-

Global Solar Installation Growth Set to Hit Three-Year High in 2014by Staff WritersLondon, UK (SPX) Oct 03, 2013File image.Global photovoltaic (PV) installations are forecast to rise at the fastest pace in three years in 2014, exceeding 40 gigawatts (GW) for this first time and generating installation revenue of more than $86 billion, according to IHS. Annual solar installations are predicted to expand at a rate of 18 percent in 2014,
PV installations will accelerate in 2014 driven by low system prices, the creation of new markets in emerging regions and the continued growth in major countries such as the United States, Japan and China," said Ash Sharma, senior research director for solar at IHS. "As the industry's recovery accelerates and market revenue returns to near record levels,
SEPT 2013- Chinese firms agreeing to voluntarily raise their prices to offset the government support they receive through policies like cheap loans and tax incentives. ...... Just the fact, of having 80% of the industry between a couple China stocks..... ....... (wow) **** The China companies will set up a fund to help finance some of the higher priced US suppliers and solar companies losses. **** citing a report from the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and GTM Research, noted that the solar power market is expected to see compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 24% between 2012 and 2016.
Yingli in the first half of 2013 rode the wave of solar growth in its home market in China to retain the dominant position in the global business for photovoltaic (PV) modules, according to IHS.
In all, company shipments in the first half of 2013 surged by 29.9% compared 1,110 megawatts during the same period in 2012.
"Yingli in the first half of 2013 benefited from strong growth in demand in China," said Jessica Jin, solar analyst at IHS. "China already accounts for almost one-third of the company's business, and its importance will increase further in the second half and beyond."
Yingli's total revenues were 39% higher than that of number two module supplier Trina Solar. This represents an increase from Yingli's lead in the first half of 2012 of 27% over then number two player First Solar.
Aug-2013- Liansheng Miao, CEO of Yingli, attributed quarterly growth to "robust demand from China and the U.S. associated with the traditional peak seasons and the accelerated construction of utility-scale projects.
As the world's largest crystalline silicon solar panel manufacturer, Yingli sent out signs of market stabilization in its just-announced second quarter results.
The firm held steady on its 3.2- to 3.3-gigawatt shipment guidance, about a 40 percent jump over last year and a significant chunk of the 34-gigawatt global solar market that GTM Research forecasts for 2013.
Yingli also hit the 1-gigawatt mark for North American shipments across more than 30,000 projects.
AUG 2013---- the world's largest solar panel builder recorded second quarter 2013 revenue of $550.4 million, up 23.6 percent from last quarter. Gross margin was 11.8 percent, up from 4.1 percent in the previous quarter. The gross margin for PV module sales was 12.5 percent. Net loss was $52.3 million in the second quarter of 2013, compared to approximately $100 million in the previous quarter.
Yingli Energy (YGE) has become the world's largest solar panel shipper, overtaking First Solar (FSLR) and Suntech (STP) in the most recent quarter. This China based solar module company is also one of the oldest solar companies. Yingli Energy has one of the lowest module processing costs in the industry along with Trina Solar (TSL) and Jinko Solar (JKS). It has crystalline solar wafer to panel vertical integration, as it abandoned its polysilicon operation a year ago. The company has a large market share in the Chinese solar panel market, which is set to become the biggest solar country by volume in 2013 (target of 10 GW). However, huge overcapacity in the solar supply chain is not resolving itself, due to continuous bailouts by the Chinese government. Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. said its shipments of solar panels surged at more than double the pace it expected in the fourth quarter as it wrote down the value of its inventory, reflecting lower prices. Once the solar industry comes back to equilibrium and you get more profits out of sales, then the YGE stock has the potential to really jump much higher.

We have booked multimillion-dollar orders with one customer this quarter. We have a trial commencing soon with another customer, ongoing discussions with a third and I'm very pleased that we have been shortlisted in a very large greenfield LTE opportunity. &&& we have received our first purchase order from a North American carrier for a new project within their overall expansion activities. As I indicated last quarter, there are plans to invest $16 billion in Sprint's network over the next 2 years. UPGRADES to networks- 2G voice-centric traffic to higher proportion of data-centric traffic using the 4G spectrum shows promise. What we've seen around the world is that there is significant growth on the network. And that growth has to be provided for in the network infrastructure, and that triggers the CapEx cycle. India is going through that cycle. There are many countries -- developing countries that are modernizing their networks from a pretty low base. SoftBank is investing $16 billion in the Sprint network over the next couple years and then on an ongoing basis, $6 billion is clearly a signal, in my mind people are building…………….
We are the largest IP integrator in the carrier space by wide margin with more than 800 projects to date. 2013 - DragonWave had 2 customers who generated more than 10% of total revenue. Revenue from the Nokia Solutions and Networks channel was $15.5 million, or 61% of revenue in the quarter, and the other customer was 10% of total revenue. ### Better Margins -Gross margins in the second quarter of fiscal year 2014 was 11%, compared to 11% in the first quarter of fiscal year 2014 and 15% in the second quarter of fiscal year 2013. New projects outside of NSN will help.
I tried to look at the past deals and seen that integration could be the key to older networks LIKE TD , time. DRWI acquired product from NSN. (NOK MICRO), The majority of the employees that DRWI will be adding will be engineers doing R&D.
Over time, they see plenty of opportunity for growth beyond quarterly sales of $100m. Revenues to increase 4 to 5 fold. I am seeing the buzz works like IP Packets, LTE, and internet integrater used and makes me think their plan is working. Maybe it’s a good time to do some bottom fishing? WOW,,,,, nice as quadruple on UBNT..... Now at the high you think its a bullish call......Maybe one of these days you will learn real DD and know why companies have a triple returns? ........ Your call is a year late pal................ You might learn about acquisitions and the technology gained with the companies core. In return when it comes together with a couple wins you might pay attention. You may learn the difference between ways to send frequencies like QCOM Cycle switching and others time delay. I have seen packet companies go stellar. It sounds like DRWV is working with major carriers and governments for upgrading securities and network service including top 4G -LTE. If the margins come in we could have a real winner here....... I have some spec money on turn. I am a little behind with understanding what will make SHOR a 4 banger- please advise. I can see the turn here as the business plan must have come together with RESEARCH, development , TECHNOLOGY and SALES.
Its good news with KUWAIT. The market has not digested the win.
