Not smart enough to own them both? I don't even see them as direct competition with most their offerings. Please go research your Plug stock and their 150 patents in (fuel cells and refrigeration) Their Gen Drive is for fuel cells forks that they get from Ballard . Even their stations don't actual produce Hydrogen. Now complete the hydrogen field portfolio by adding the HYGN like I did, From what I gather their Fuel cells are even for different vehicles. Please educate your self. HYGS is in 1) Propulsion 2) Power Generation 3)Energy Storage 4) Hydrogen Fueling Stations. HYGS is an actual producer. They have storing technologies as using fuel cells and Natural gas lines. I love the opportunity to talk about them.

The Power Systems segment has recorded average annual revenue growth of over 115% over the last three years. With Korea and now Canada the future is brighter. Storage facilities -------------on the grid are a real game changer," said Bruce Campbell, President and CEO of the IESO in a press release. "Our electricity system was built on the concept that you can't store large amounts of electricity -- we produce electricity at the same time that we consume it. This is the solution that can turn the corner for this company and give us a huge lift. THE Midwest and south west with solar and wind can store (((and))) sent electricity to the grid. HELLO WARRAN BUFFET (Midwest Energy) ARE you in the GAME? Energy storage projects will provide more flexibility and offer more options to manage the system efficiently."

If Russia were to restrict the export of that uranium, explains Katusa, life as we know it in the United States could come to an abrupt halt.

If that happened America’s lights would go out. It would be the greatest blackout in American history…

The irony is John Kerry is going out there with Obama and talking about all these sanctions they’re going to put on the Russians. If the Russians wanted they could pull the rug out from under the American energy matrix and 20%, one out of every five homes in America, would be in blackout.

You have to remember the facts… You can talk about hope and dreams all you want, but the reality is that one in every five homes in America is powered by Russian fuel. E.ON one of Germanys largest utilities is giving out money for solutions..... The situation must change and countries must ACT..... This solution that the company has could go mainstream. There is even 3D solar.......... The world and energy is changing.

A ten banger would only be a little over a hundred million Market cap. FIRST ELEMENT is a recent start up like this that just hit it big with hydrogen stations in California. They just like Germany need a storage solution. Big numbers give you problems don't they! They are serving a segment worth billions. Hydrogen cars, infrastructure have been worked out. These little start up have done their R&D and could be huge winners. The South West has the SUN and water. I see it wont be you making money on it. Watch California and FirstElement.

Well little reader its like this.......... Many years solar has taken a back seat because of the storage situation. Turning the sun power into HYDROGEN might not seam like much but when you look at scientist scratching their heads for years and the light bulb goes on its. ITS BREAKING NEWS and a game changer. HYGS is putting hydrogen in natural gas lines and got a big Canada contract. They are working the bottle necks out. Infrastructure and storage.

  • - Nature Magazine Highlights HyperSolar's Breakthrough Hydrogen Technology
Article Points Out Progress in the Quest to Make Hydrogen Fuel From the Power of the Sun
HyperSolar's technology is based on the concept of developing a low-cost, submersible hydrogen production particle that can split water molecules using sunlight without any other external systems or resources. The Company's Patent Pending Polymer Coating Applied to a Bromine Electrode in a Wireless Solar Powered Particle Allows Continuous Production of Renewable Hydrogen for 170 Hours. 1) Solar Storage was a problem- Solar to chemical conversion (artificial photosynthesis) has the advantage in that the energy storage challenges associated with photovoltaics are eliminated. ( Storing Heat or energy) With sunlight and water readily available in most parts of the world, the HyperSolar H2Generator™ can be connected to a conventional fuel cell to create a self-contained 24x7 renewable electricity generator. During the day, solar energy is constantly stored as hydrogen. This is a break though…. 2 2) Breakthrough- HyperSolar is developing a breakthrough, low cost technology to make renewable hydrogen using sunlight and any source of water, including seawater and wastewater. By optimizing the science of water electrolysis at the nano-level, our low cost nanoparticles mimic photosynthesis to efficiently use sunlight to separate hydrogen from water, to produce environmentally friendly renewable hydrogen. 3 ) Greener, scalable, and cheaper- The key differentiator in hydrogen fuel production is the source from which it's developed. Currently, most current and planned hydrogen fueling stations dispense hydrogen fuel produced from natural gas, which is known as "brown hydrogen." Like other fossil fuels, natural gas emits carbon into the environment when converted to useable fuel. By comparison, hydrogen fuel produced from renewable resources such as wind or solar, known as "green hydrogen," is developed via a much cleaner process. "The hydrogen fuel cell industry has been abuzz lately in part due to Walmart's partnership with Plug Power, and Hyundai, BMW and other auto manufacturer's commitment to hydrogen fuel," said Tim Young, CEO of HyperSolar. "That being said, the infrastructure surrounding hydrogen production is as crucial as the fuel cell technology. We believe that our process of mimicking photosynthesis by splitting water molecules provides the lowest-cost and scalability that the industry will need as it continues to establish relationships with international brands and projects. ON May 12, Toyota announced plans to allow its battery supply deal with Tesla to expire, where it will then focus on hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and technology. According to the New York Times, Toyota said its "focus this year would instead be on its four-door sedan powered by hydrogen fuel cells, which it plans to introduce in California next year. The automaker will also focus on developing hydrogen refueling stations to support fuel-cell technology." Toyota and FirstElement Fuel, which is headed by ex-GM and Hyundai executive Joel Ewanick, are working together on a project designed to complement California's agreement to spend about $200 million building 100 stations in the state. This company just a start up, Ewanick says FirstElement believes the Northeast will be the next area that could get hydrogen filling stations. Several northeastern states, including Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont and New Jersey, have adopted California clear air standards. Initially, the gaseous hydrogen will be delivered to each station, but Ewanick said that eventually, the hydrogen could be produced on site. 4) Funding-Startup to lead- On May 1st, the California Energy Commission announced its decision to award FirstElement Fuel $27.6 Million to support the company in developing a hydrogen fueling network which would enable California consumers to drive and fill up their fuel cell vehicles by fall of 2015. Overall, the California Energy Commission announced approximately $46.6 million in funding, which is intended to support the addition of 28 new hydrogen stations to the nine that already exist. With 17 more already under development, the state anticipates being over halfway to its goal of 100 hydrogen-fueling stations. Hydrogen is for real- Toyota, which is targeting a full-tank range of 300 miles and a five-minute refueling time for its fuel-cell sedan, had its fuel-cell prototype make its North American debute at the Consumer Electronics show in Vegas in January … The cars are technically feasible but lack a cohesive fueling infrastructure. “Solutions are being found through collaboration between government, academia, carmakers and energy providers. Stay tuned, because this infrastructure thing is going to happen.” With a New break through like HYSR the Southwest sun could be producing Hydrogen. Toyota Puts Reported $7.2 Million into Big Winner FirstElement and into the hydrogen infrastructure. A growing list of automakers such as Audi, BWM, Toyota and Honda are all developing hydrogen fuel cell cars. IS HYSR next? -Germany has gotten to the point where solar can generate half of the needed electricity via renewables. If they could solve their problem of intermittency and storage with hydrogen we could see fireworks. It was no coincidence that they gave $6.6 million dollars to fund fuel cell development within a couple of days of the downing of a Malaysian flight presumed to be fired upon by Russian separatists. How much will they give HYSR for a real solution? HYGS just had a win with Ontario for their solutions of putting Hydrogen in Natural gas lines safely up 25%. The solutions are being created. HYGS clean solution industrial pem technology, which has already been on display with E.ON (one of the largest German utilities) just hit the wires with a big Canada contract. Germany needs power. The timing is right. So does the world.

Why now? Near-term catalysts The Company's products include HySTAT hydrogen generation equipment in its OnSite Generation business and HyPM fuel cell products in its Power Systems business. Hydrogenics derives its revenues from two business segments: OnSite Generation, and Power Systems. An alternative to Russia OIL/GAS. Power Systems segment has shown massive growth over the last three years and the difference in revenues for both segments has declined, giving the company a better balance.
    • Focus on the alternative energy sources has allowed the fuel cell sector to grow substantially and Europe is likely to be one of the biggest growth drivers in future, Now Canada has stepped up to the plate. HYGS has been selected as a Preferred Respondent by the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) for Ontario in its procurement for Grid Energy Storage. This Power-to-Gas project will deliver 2MW of storage capacity and be located in the Greater Toronto Area..
    • Power Systems segment will likely continue its impressive growth as the market is expected to reach $2-3 billion over the next few years. The Power Systems segment has recorded average annual revenue growth of over 115% over the last three years. Storage facilities on the grid are a real game changer," said Bruce Campbell, President and CEO of the IESO in a press release. Total BS and very clearly shows you know nothing of the cash from the last offering. You and the ALPO boy want to talk of the past and acquiring the Intellectual expertise. . IT took a lot of research to get where they are now. They are transforming and turning into a monetizing supplier of products and services. They have what others only dream of. Only a brain dead out dated bag of envy don't understand why GE wants in. Other conglomerates are steps behind in the field and need to catch up. You are buying a huge wealth of research and others pain for pennies on the dollar. I believe the time is now for PLUG , FCEL, and Ballard Power.

  • This could be a ROCKET, HYGS went straight up from 5 to 30 in two years… 2013 and 2014 are turn around years. They will merge from a “Developmental” company, To morph into a HYDRO conglomerate. Fuel cells are going to be an important energy source for a number of applications and the long-term future is certainly bright - Plug Power, with about 150 patents in fuel cells, is expecting growth and intellectual value. GE is now entering the field and other will look to PLUG and other to catch up. Other will follow and look to those who have the expertise and Partner or buy. ** New markets and new technologies could spring up around advancements only now being realized. *** Plug Power is doing well only in its GenKey business, and is expecting to ship approximately 650 GenDrive units in the next quarter to customers such as Wal-Mart , P&G , Volkswagen , Central Grocers, and Ace. ***Huge corporations like Walmart, Bridgestone , Mercedes have tested Hydro batteries and its just a matter of time before Hydro stations are built. Countries like Japan are noe offering HUGE incentives to good with fuel cells. Others will follow, Japan's 25-year plan will cause the country to import fuel cells, which will create an opportunity for fuel cell manufacturers. *** In February 2014, Walmart placed an order for 1,738 Plug Power FCVs for their distribution warehouses in Canada and the United States. In May of this year Central Grocers placed an order with Plug Power for 182 next-generation GenDrive fuel cell units in their Joliet, Illinois facility. ** The company's acquited ReliOn, a developer of modular air-cooled hydrogen fuel cell stacks and unique low-cost stack assembly systems
The expansion and deployment of this technology will have a ripple effect on other sectors of our economy … Airports and industries are the next logical step for similar types of fuel cell vehicles. Power predicts a market for 60,000 hydrogen fuel cells at airports once the technology is fully developed. *** PLUG has monetized a technology that meets the need to mitigate a growing worldwide need for clean energy? PLUG has demonstrated 150 Patents with top notch intellectual Knowledge and Research & Development in growing business and field.
** The world is coming to terms with the hardships presented with carbon fuels and the world wants a change. New infrastructures around hydrogen will happen. Toyota and Honda has already announced plans to introduce next-generation zero-emission hydrogen vehicles. *** Many countries want to build a Hydrogen infrastructure. BLDP FCEL and PLUG all carry different expertise. *** Toyota caught its competitors by surprise with the revolutionary Prius, the first commercially successful gasoline-electric hybrid car. Now, the Japanese firm is trying to do the same with a technology that seems straight out of science fiction. ** Toyota Motor Corp. will next year launch a hydrogen-powered car in the United States, Japan and Europe. For now, people at Toyota are calling it the 2015 FC car, for fuel cell. Honda Motor Co., which has set the early pace with its FCX Clarity, a sleek, purpose-built hydrogen car. Mercedes has started slow production also. "With the 2015 FC car, we think we've achieved a degree of dominance over our rivals," Satoshi Ogiso, a Toyota managing director, said in an interview at the group's global headquarters. "With the car, we make a first giant step" toward making fuel-cell vehicles practical for everyday use. **********UPGRADES****** After meeting with Plug Power's CEO, Roth Capital analyst Matt Koranda wrote that he is more confident that the company can meet its 2014 revenue guidance. Koranda is also more confident that the company can meet its 2014 bookings target. Plug Power appears to be looking to deploy its products at four locations during the current quarter, leaving it well-positioned to ship more units than expected, the analyst explained. An increase in the company's shipments will also raise its product gross margins, added Koranda. Moreover, Plug Power appears to be reaching a positive turning point with its large customers, the analyst believes.******* FBR Capital recent analyst upgrade and price target of $8 for Plug Power within a year from now. On July 15, research firm FBR Capital initiated coverage of Plug Power with an Outperform rating. Plug Power's recent contracts with large companies are likely to enable it to land more such transactions, FBR Capital analyst Aditya Satghare indicated. Additionally, its current customers are likely to adopt more hydrogen powered forklifts, the analyst predicted
Those sales projections represent a 700% sales increase in just four years and have some analysts predicting Plug Power can achieve profitability in 2015.
