  • should pretty well answer the question of whether or not he was a racist. And why was he a racist? I suggest that it was because he had been taught by the liberal socialist democrats to be filled with resentment and jealousy and to believe that every time he did not get what he wanted in his employment it was because some one had discriminated against him. Instead of forgiving, as Jesus taught, he hated, as many of those liberals who attack Christianity do. Obama, Holder and Sharpton set an example for this type of thinking when they treat blacks shot attacking police or other armed people, like Brown and Martin did, as victims of racism, When they poison the minds of young blacks they also poison their chance to have successful life, because an attitude of racial hostility will impede their every effort to make a worthwhile contribution to whatever business employs them.

  • icon: I attacked socialism/communism I did not say a word about you, or whether you like America or not. I have not paid any attention to your posts. I just wanted to point out that the figure weg gave for the killing by socialist/communists, 10,000,000 was much too small. Those worthies , representing socialism/communism in full bloom, are entitled to credit for at least 100,000,000 kills.

If they abandon their base they are very likely to lose again, but perhaps they feel that they will be taken care of and just don't give much of a damn about the freedom, safety and prosperity of America.

  • weg: In your post below you do not give the socialists/communists nearly enough credit for all the killing they have done. When one takes into account not only Lenin and Stalin and the Russian socialists, but also the National Socialists and Mao and Kim and Pol Pot, three luminaries who should not be omitted, the socialist/communists have killed over100,000,000 people in the last100 years. And most of these were citizens of the socialist/communist country that killed them.

seeburg: The GOP establishment rinos like Boehner, McConnell and McCain just cannot or will not understand that the base of the GOP is conservative and freemarket oriented, and is disgusted with the way the rino leaders promise to oppose the socialist democrats and then fail to keep their promise. This cost Romney the election when some 3,000,000 of the gop base stayed home. And it could easily happen again if they select a rino like Bush as their candidate. People are tired of being lied to and betrayed. It is time for dinosaurs like Boehner, McConnell and McCain to leave public life and be replaced by younger freedom and America loving conservative republicans. The many registered democrats who are disgusted with the hard left and America last line of Obama and gang will vote for such republicans.

  • wants to control our borders, or opposes their socialist control over business or wants to make the American middle class safe and prosperous is a racist. They love to claim racism when someone opposes the bad policies of Obama such as refusing to protect or to allow the states to protect the border, or pretending that Islamic terrorism is not Islamic, or attacking the coal and oil industries. Those socialist democrat racists are the ones most responsible for such unnecessary deaths as that of the Giant Robber or Trevan Martin or the two reporters that Vester, filled with racially inspired resentment and jealousy, killed in Virginia. Look for them to sing their racist song whenever the republican candidates propose any sensible policy designed to make America safer, more prosperous or more free, just as they are singing it now about Trump.

  • He kept his promise to cripple the coal industry ( and in the process bankrupted some coal companies and drove the value of the shares of others into the dirt, thus hurting millions of shareholders and destroying many high paying jobs.)
And he kept his promise to stand with the muslims, as we can see from his (intentinally?) failed opposition to ISIS and his efforts to see that Iran has the means to obtain nuke and delivery systems that will be pointed at the US.

seeburg: That is one way to look at this tragedy. But I think a better way is to realize that Vester could have made the choice to forgive, instead of try to get revenge. Of course that would have been in accordance with the teachings of Jesus. And the liberals attack Christianity relentlessly , preferring it seems, the ignorance of atheism or the meanness of islam. And it would have been contrary to the urgings of Sharpton and Obama and the rest of the socialist democrat racists, who do their best to stir up racial resentment in young blacks. Michael Brown and Trevan Martin were also victims of the democrat racist teaching of resentment and jealousy. Our foolish or traitorous President Obama is doing his best to promote islam, a religion/political system that is hostile to the foundations upon which this country was built, as it seeks to fuse church and state and to destroy individual freedom of speech and thought. And some blacks are falling for this backward way of thinking.

Yes , Obama is an astonishingly bad president, but he has not given up. He is still working hard to pursue policies deigned to hurt the middle class and turn it into the welfare class, and to make us vulnerable to nukes from Iran, and he has his hand picked accomplice, Biden, warming up to replace Hillary in the election.

  • leftist democrats are so adamant about funding with government money despite the fact that it is selling baby body parts. 78% of its clinics are in minority neighborhood and 35% of the aborted babies are black, while blacks make up only 12% of the population. And yet, when anyone opposes the leftist democrats policies they call that person a racist or worse.

  • What an amazingly stupid thing to do if one is interested is seeing a prosperous free America, and what a shrewd and cunning way to attack the middle class, if one wants to convert it into the welfare class.

The two great forces for totalitarianism in the world today are socialism/communism and islam. And we have a President who is a socialist/communist, whose mother and father were socialists/communists, and whose father was also a muslim, and who is either a secret muslim or a muslim sympathizer. Who will not admit that islamic terrorism is islamic. And who wants to make a deal that will insure the militant mullahs of Iran will get nukes and delivery systems? The question is - why has Obama not yet been impeached and removed from office?

cloudy: Unlike you, I can understand what I read. And when the socialist system of the pilgrims failed and they almost starved, they changed so that each was entitled to keep what he produced on his own land, and then they prospered. People have to be incentivized. As I said, we can have a safety net and still be free and prosperous. We cannot have an equality net without losing both freedom and prosperity. Sadly the socialist democrats have led the way to squandering gargantuan sums on the war on poverty over the last 50 years, and have only achieved locking more people than ever into a life of dependency and poverty. The socialist democrats need these people to stay poor and dependent, and hopefully jealous and resentful of the prosperous, so that they will vote democrat.

cloudy: Taxes are not socialism. The pilgrims tried a form of socialism and it failed. And that is a fact despite all you do to try to hide it. And if you are sufficiently ignorant of history and economics to think that private property is bad, let me point out that private property is essential to freedom. The greatest engine of economic progress humanity has is free enterprise. Today there are two great forces at work in the world both of which make for totalitarianism, scarcity, and misery, and they are socialism/communism and islam. I suspect you like both.

cloudy: As I said, and as your apparently can not understand or admit, Jesus never forced any one to be generous. Some early Christians tried to life a life of voluntary sharing, as has been tried over and over again, and was even tried by the pilgrims. But all such attempts fail because some people will take advantage of others. The pilgrims almost starved until they went to a system where each kept what he produced . Contrary to your foolishness, taxes are not socialism. In modern society there is a place for a safety net, but there cannot be an equality net without destroying freedom and productivity.

  • Maybe now, when people are looking at the market, he can cunningly get his deal ( a treaty in disguise ) with Iran that assures it will have nukes and delivery systems concluded. Let us hope not.

  • rdotn38 rdotn38 Aug 24, 2015 10:27 AM Flag

cloudy: What you quote just shows how right I am and how little you understand about socialism. The followers of Jesus acted voluntarily in giving and sharing. They were not forced. Socialism is based on force. It forces people to do what the socialist commanders order. It forces them to work at the jobs the socialist commanders say they should work at. That is why it is such a miserable failure in terms of what it can produce and provide.

  • rdotn38 rdotn38 Aug 24, 2015 8:50 AM Flag

No, cloudy, Jesus did not teach socialism. Socialism is based on force. The government takes your money away from you by force of law and gives it to whoever it wants to have it. You have no choice as to whether you will hand it over or not. Jesus did not teach taking money away from people by force. He taught an entirely different thing. He taught love and charity, where the individual voluntarily gives to who he wants to receive it because he is filled with love. Jesus sought to persuade people to be loving and generous, but he never tried to force them to be generous. Jesus taught the worth of the individual. Socialism teaches the worth of the State, and in its full blown form , does not hesitate to trample on the individual whenever it suits the socialist rulers. And America, having been founded by Christians and basing its institutions and constitution on Christian principles of the worth of the individual became the freest , most prosperous , and most generous nation in the history of the world.

Actually dela, your president, Obama, supports the religion of domination which is endeavoring to destroy religious freedom wherever it is powerful enough to do so. We now see him importing more adherents of that religion/political system into the US, even though its basic tenets are hostile to the principles upon which this country was founded. And your president is also helping Iran, an Islamic theocracy that stomps on religious freedom, obtain nuclear weapons and delivery systems.

As a matter of fact he did live. Actually we all survive death. It is only our bodies that die. And we live many lifetimes.
