couldn't agree with you more phynone. this is the OTC, if you wanted audited financials go invest elsewhere. folks investing in the otc should know the risk that come with it.
from the PR's, marketing, and sales growth this year so far, company is doing great from what it is telling us. if you don't 'trust' the numbers, need to move on.
PPS hit 0.0009 yesterday in interday trading, and folks just bash harder.
First the product got Halal approved now Kosher approved. These are two good certifications to have especially given the international expansion BBDA is looking to do. This product now can get into specialty stores (Halal and Kosher serving stores).
Also noted in the PR: "The company has several other major announcements that will be announced before the conclusion of the third and fourth quarters."
BBDA has always been strong in Q3 and Q4 (sales wise per OTC filings). I m hoping the expansion to the Northwest (US) will help boost sales growth. I can see this happening for Q4, Q3 might still be too soon.
With Koma being expanded into Circle K stores, piloting in some 7-eleven stores, and continuously being added to Walmart and Walgreen stores and continuous partnering with distributors. BBDA is really laying down the groundwork to set itself for a nice growth going into 2015. (Key to success would be retention and same store sales to grow on top of the new added stores (But I guess the company is still too young to track same store sales vs. new stores). The Hiring of the Northwest sales rep should be a good story to tell in my opinion, domestically i think this is one of BW's best hires to date. And the use of social media has been active (Facebook updates and twitter updates), good sign of engagement by the company.
This year has been one of the best year's for BBDA in terms of marketing/promoting. Bus tour, bill board, radio ads, sponsorship, and store promo.
If BW can keep the share count stable, the PPS should see nice growth. If BW thought his growth is going to materialize....he should be looking to buy back shares at these cheap rates.
i just don't see a date stamp onto the 8.8B number. I know a month ago the number was 6.8B A/S.
I wondering if 8.8B is an older filing figure? I can't tell as I do not follow this website often.
where are you seeing the 8.8B shares? last i check on the OTC website the total A/S was 6.8B (as of July 22nd.
I also have an email from the company stating (piece of the email i received. " ...available shares dropped yesterday from 9.8 billion to 6.8 billion. like we stated a few months ago we are
done with commercialization...."
This email was back in May 14, 2014.
this tells me that someone in Pepsi (RED BLUE SILVER Trucks) might be keeping an eye on the company....plus they are already using a distributor of theirs already. I think the 2nd half of the year is going to be strong (Sales wise).
this was posted on BW's twitter account yesterday....
"Red truck! Blue truck ! Red blue, silver trucks ! These next 150 days will be rediculous for @BBDApk @KOMAUnwindNews, here there everywhere!"
typical. postponed "financials".
any estimates on Sales? I am estimating 2.4M in Sales.(20-21% increase in Rev). I think Q3 2014 will be much bigger....might even be testing 2.75M-3M range (if things are picking up in Northwest regions).
I have been an investor in BBDA for over a year now. And last summer, BBDA/KOMA Unwind did a campaign in NYC to promote the product. I figured NYC is a big market for any product to be in, so I figured let me time stamp the # of likes on the companies facebook page.
Koma Unwind page:
8/15/2014 38,524 (+9,175 or +31%).
since that campaign in Q3 2013: BBDA sales has been $2M+ each Qtr (average).
Although, I have seen the ups and downs of the company, i have continued to average down on my position (average down on PPS).
I think the # of likes and rev will have a positive correlation and will move upward.
Looking forward to see have Q2 performed with Sales.
I am at 4.5M shares and looking to add.
I had emailed Ken from investor yesterday, and he said we should see it over night or today some time. I have not seen it (only news I see in beverage companies is the Coke/Monster related (which BW on this twitter account talks about as well).
But I am with you on the "feature in the Mag"...this to me really is an AD.
Coke, just took on a major stack in Monster ($2.2B 15-17% stake).
Doesn't look like Coke will be looking at DNA anytime soon...to add to its portfolio. KO's weakness was the lack of a strong presence in the energy drink industry (Red Bull and Monster owned that territory in the US).
Coke has been a distributor of Monster drinks....but that could be risky for Coke if Monster ever decided to do that on their own...than that would have been a haircut on Coke's revenue. By getting a stake in Monster now, it at least gives Coke something to hedge against.
That is one major player off DNA's books, unless DNA can get sizable to grab attention...very difficult.
Other players like Pepsi are still in the hunt (as is Coke still) to find ways way to grow their business through M&A. one area where both companies do not have an avenue is looking into the relaxation drink market. Young Industry, but could be big in the long run perhaps. This is why i am looking into companies like BBDA, who seem to be maturing in their space.
i like your points....you nail right on the head. the key to this product moving retail/website is brand awareness. If they really can run at this, the products can really start moving (even if it is a greater focus on a particular region).
Just as an example: if they can get into Florida's own energy drink and try to pierce trough just that one region....it would make wonders in sales. Then if it becomes one of the prefered products there, they can branch out over time to others. This will not only lessign the finances needed on promoting by doing it locally or regionally, it will become one of the preferred energy drinks in that market. then it can make moves to other states. just a thought. I don't think they have a strong audience in other states right now (maybe i am wrong).
after some news in getting the product in Circle K stores....looks like the next step for BBDa is go get into 7-eleven stores.
I think Circle K/7-elven stores are better equipped to moving the product compared to Walmart or even Walgreens. these stores are widely located through out the US. They are easier to get to (walking wise) compared to walmarts in most cases since they are franchee's running them.
Capturing these types of store brands makes more sense in moving the product in my opnion. Opens quicker access points to the general public. Smart move by BBDA in targeting these stores....next they need to hit up stores that are connected to gas stations (Tiger mart at Exxon/Mobil stations, Suncico's stores, etc)
such an idiotic comment to make. first of all eating/drinking Halal approved drinks has nothing to do with being Muslim (in fact any walk of life may choice to consume it....it simply has been cleared for those that follow a 'Halal diet' to drink it.
Secondly, being Halal approved has nothing to do with feeding terrorist.
again i am not muslim, but i am an american who lives by the matra of freedom = which intels freedom of religion. and i am currently tried of those connecting a religion to terrorism. And those that use religion as an excuse to to be terrorist as just stupid and clearly do not care for what the true value is of what their religion may be teaching them.
any whoot, no idea why i am wasting my time responding to your post....but you can be stupid if you like but do not try to generalize religion with terrorist.
Did anybody notice in today's "Halal approved" PR the following statement. "The company has several other major announcements that will be announced before the conclusion of the third quarter."
this means in the next month in a half we should be seeing some 'meaningful' PR's coming out.
Could be a good time to load up some shares to a quick pop in PPS.
you are an idiot. The product does not change its ingredients because it is "Halal approved." Basically means those that are of Islamic faith are in the clear to consume this beverage. This is a big step, because according to some of my Islamic co-workers and those I knew back in College, they are not allow to drink alcoholic beverages (beer, liquor, etc.)....AGAIN....I do not know what is true or not, but this is according to my co-workers. Many folks drink beer, win, spirits to take the edge off from a stressful day, but those that do not drink (be it for personal reasons, health, or religion) this drink is a good alternative for relaxation.
His being Halal approved opens doors to many European/middle eastern countries that have a large population of Muslims in their countries.
I think this is a good green light for the Euro/international market.
a move towards .005 is more likely pending a strong shareholder update (sales growth, euro update, etc).
and if sales show at least a 25% growth vs. prior period. This will be moving on up.
