Does anyone have an intelligent guess on closing date of WNR takeover?
My guess is as good as the one forecasting the Giants will win the Superbowl.
This arbitrage discount may continue indefinitely.
You seem like quite knowledgeable about HD Wave. Congrats.
In your humble opinion, how proprietary is this new technology, i.e. can it be easily copied?
Does SEDG have a multiyear tech lead due to HDWAVE or is it a one product cyce lead?
BTW ENPH is toast. SEDG must wait for a few quarters with new, higher margin HDWave, before Street heaps on the rewards.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
WBMD seems to be in same industry space as EVDY. That explains why EVDY has jumped 8% today.
BTW, if you compare metrics of WBMD to EVDY, we are about 200% underprices, i.e. $27 based on 0.99 eps in 2016.
SEDG will introduce their new HD Tech inverters in Dec 2015. Should lower price and improve margins.
How does this development affect orders in Q3? Wil installer postpone orders? Will they continue full speed ahead with orders?
ENPH has taken 35% hit due to slowdown.
The dividend rule is x-div date is two business days before record date. Thus rec date 11/16; x-div 11/12. If theres a holiday, skip because its not a business day (open for trading).
SEDG has been killed by the results from SCTY. They lost a lot of money.
Lost in the panic is that SCTY continues to greatly increase their revenues. Translated that mean more inverters from SEDG. SEDG is profitable!
I wouldn't put much credence in the US lowering subsidies. We are a green country, especially with Hillary gaining the throne.
Last year a high flying pharm QCOR was taken over by VRX. Investors may remember what happened to QCOR while it was independent.
Citron launched a short attack against QCOR. The stock took a big hit. Eventually, QCOR recovered. Then, VRX came along and completed a very lucrative ending to QCOR holders.
Wait for VRX to bottom. Then dip in.
I wonder if geopolitical risks on pressuring SEDG?
SEDG is Israeli based. Palestinian - Israeli tensions are rising with increased clashes. Perhaps a new Infilda is on the way.
Otherwise SEDG is a great company with super technology in fast growing sector.
HP-Sandisk announced "forthcoming" super memory chips. MU takes a dive.
Does anyone wish to offer a definition of "forthcoming" in stock market parlance. What about pipe dream; possible, sometime in the future; when we manage to perfect; never; etc.
Buy MU - a bird in hand is worth 1000 x bird in the bush, or some such homily.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
No, I don't have earlier trial results.
Phase I tests were done to determine toxicity, and not efficaciousness.
Phase II contains less than 100 patients.
I screwed up on the spelling - ATNM . But the argument remains: does ATNM have sufficient protection of the IP to ensure there pipeline is successful.
Sarcasm does not make anyone money.
According to my read, neither Iaomab-B nor Actimab-A have patents. ACTN is depending on trade secrets.
Does this lact of IP protection cause concern? Once Iomab-B becomes successful (hopefully), can others come into the market?
Meanwhile, ACTN sinks.
Are you referring to possible WNR buyout to rest of NTI, that they do not yet own?
Whatever, let the distributions continue.
