With such results, you ought to be telling every single diabetic you know as well as reaching out to all the diabetic communities, your local news channels, your friends, your neighbors and any and every politician or celebrity you know. You should also get your doctor to push for it and as a patient share your story with the FDA. Plus you ought to contact Mannkind management (MIke not Matt) and ask them to share your story with their contacts. Just my honest opinion, until patients don't demand or insist on it, this product and company are in danger of dying a slow death. Thanks for sharing your story.
As a physician, wouldn't you consider the desires of your patients? Afrezza has been in the market for over a year and a half now and yet not a single complaint about lung toxicity. In fact, anyone that has used the product raves about it, ultra fast acting and "blows" away any injectable mealtime insulin. Sanofi blew it and they know it. They did not try and even commercialize the product, so they sandbagged, trying to protect their turf. Not only that, they threw away money at it hoping it either go away or if it stuck, they would simply reap the benefits. (this is what they are doing with their 30 launches a year, see what sticks)
Toujeo is simply their attempt to further protect their turf. Sanofi is not an innovative company, sort of an
un-wielding, bureaucratic bloated organization. For shame they let Afrezza slip away. This will come and bite them in the rear end.
Agreed. very good. Now if only Mannkind can capitalize on this, we may be talking about a blockbuster beyond anyone's wildest dreams. Send this over to Matt!
ha funny. Sanofi sandbagged MNKD's product. they have what is called Toejoe, not even close to the gift horse they had. The only reason they sandbagged it is because they were scared it would eat at their lantus franchise. They purposely partnered so as to bury inhaled insulin. They are a bloated dysfunctional company. Their CEO is what you call a bandaid, but the hemorrhaging hasn't stopped. see you at $20
I belive mannkind is planning to collect some agreement termination dollars, hence they are not suing sanofi or "throwing their partner under the bus." It is better for mannkind to do this than to sue Sanofi which will tie them up in court possibly for a few years, lawyers take most to the judgement and mannkind would suffer.
As much as I hate what Sanofi did to Mannkind, this move of extracting money out of Sanofi for the termination is our best bet of getting a cash infusion quickly.
Backstabbing corrupt and immoral. By the way losing money as well. tomorrow new 52 week low once again
What do you expect from the French ? French fries weren't even invented there!
Wait for it, you will get sued by Mannkind. Thanks to stupid OLIVER and his minions. You may need to fire him just as quick. Look at your stock price. REMEMBER OLIVER came from the failed launch of Exubera from Pfizer. He is just another BRIT like Bob Dudley (former BP CEO) You just lost your diabetes franchise and now you are about to lose patients! TOEJOE (yeah I like to call it toejoe) is a failure Ha!
