My suspicion is the way they bought it down is the same way they will bring it up. When their friends have covered and they have enough retail shorts (just like they had enough retail longs); they will systematically bring it back up. We will slowly start seeing positive articles. Goldman gave a neutral article, then next group will give another neutral article but with PT being about 6.50.
It will take another couple of months for us to get back to $10, but we will get back to $10.
Nothing and I mean nothing is fully known as far as sales and only time will tell.
The short squeeze may happen in terms of 2-10% per day, but not the way most people expect it to.
Personally i will take a 2-10% consistent rise over two months.
I warned everyone last week when we were at $4.68. I warn again this week.
We should see $6's later this week. SLOWLY they will build it up back to the $10 range before Jan.
I disagree, I think they needed Amphastar to seal the deal with SNY in case they needed the insulin and to begin the manufacturing process. i would not be surprised if they get the FDA approval much faster, I admit maybe not by Nov, but hopefully before the end of the year. I admit I'm not a scientist, but really I thought insulin was insulin and it was the rapid acting kinetics that made Afrezza different.
By the time earnings comes out (1st week of November), MNKD and SNY will announce approval of SNY insulin to be used in Afrezza!
Remember it takes a little bit for FDA to approve, but not that long!
