Veronda said the UniPixel project currently employs about 25, with the expectation that the number will grow to 65 to 75 in coming weeks, with at least some coming from support personnel already working on the Uni-Pixel/Kodak joint project..
shorts got a wake up with the entire output of K/Kingsbury being taken by a single customer.. There's a greater need for InTouch than ever before, the process works, delays notwithstanding... UPOD in effect... expect the "suprise" positive news sooner than advertised.
Just when the baby has almost cleared the birth canal and is yawning for it's first breath, a hole is poked in it's head and a razored suction tube vacumns out its' brain.. I cannot think of a more fitting analogy that this. IT IS THAT UGLY. And the "new" management dosen't look like it's going to help any with the silent treatment.
If there is "faith" associated with scientific logic, this has to be the time. Faith comes in when you think about three leading world wide technology companies associated with this abortion. Were they all wrong? Really, I find that very hard to believe.. but look at the real world---.... what is one to think??? I guess on this question of "faith", I stand with the agnostics...
The problem here is the lack of information.. and JT it ain't got any better has it... did you get what you hoped for?
Well, I see the shorties are still here jumping up and down STILL trying to convince everyone it is all just a "ponzi" scheme.. Okay, just who are you trying to convinve now??? Really funny..
We don't know anything definitive and anyone's guess is just as legit as anything.. My opinon - which is just as good as ANYONE's at this stage.. is Reed dropped the ball on something - or the pressure form tute investors finally wore out the board and they made the change. Shin didn't get what he wanted and left - can't blame him - and the InTouch, poweredbyKodak - yeah consider that - just out of BK and they are going to go with a questionable manufacturing method and product - really? Keep yo' faith shorty bro' YOU will need it in the future - anyway.. the product will come to market, albeit with some more delays, which in no way legitimized anything the shorts have spewed out of their filty mouths'!
Time, along with the Almighty, is the final judge!
May the future be better. Good luck to all longs!
Franco all this info was put out by the company during the CC's. They will not PR anything but substanially material events. The reason why - is all the trumped up false lawsuit - "investigations" - BTW - HAS THERE ACTUALLY BEEN A REAL LAWSUIT - I know the one lawyer ambulance chaser has something going - just a ruse for an annoyance payoff - IMO! -- anyhoo.. claiming "pump and dump" and short hedge fund attacks. They can only PR true material events - (not every little thing - as some companys do - and some "investors" expect.) And the deal with the SEC investigation - which I see as a positive in the long run as it will help to limit the illegal naked shorting of this stock - limit - not prevent - )Execution is the answer to the problem, and everyone will have to wait for the substantial events to happen, they will.. getting closer each and every day.. and the shorties know it and the volume is no where near enough to save them and they know it.. and they are volume trapped and they know it.. any of the good news we expect will bury them and they know it, hence the daily grind in this range to try and cover as much as possible.. could work for them if it goes along enough at this level.. but I seriously doubt it, we are approaching the tipping point. exactly when?? who knows.. but soon... MO
I fully expect a few very quick reorders after the initial PO's inventory makes it's way through the assemble line.... maybe the next "news" we get.... more PO's.. IMO.
Likely all plating at R is installed and both sites 100% automatically tested now..
Kodak facility – 100,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing. Printing production is all installed, semi-automated testers installed and operational(enables 100% testing of all product meeting current production requirements under PLA, and PO's), plating production installations continues, includes testing and research capacity of current and future products. Fully automated R2R testing equipment will be installed by the end of Q4. (one each Lufkin, Rodchester) 2 more fully automated R2R ordered and installed by end of Q1 at Rochester. Capacity of 1.3 million sq/ft by Q1, continued build out to 3 million/month as needed.. current plan. InTouch.
Asia - Kodak/Uni-Pixel in discussion now with two interested parties for possible manufacturing agreements. There is a possibility that there are others also interested in manufacturing agreements.
Intel – Intel continues to STRONGLY support touch sensor solutions through it's Eco-System and opens doors for us to new customers, downstream supply, engineer support, on and on.. AND has lead to more than 20 customer engagements where some have shown interest by asking for PRICING and RIGHT NOW at least 7 PROTOTYPES HAVE BEEN DELIVERD AND are being evaluated by future customers. AND paying us a hefty 10 million dollars... unreal huh??
Production – Will start in this Q, and expand in Q1.
OGS – Of all the six competing new ITO replacement technologies, we are still the low cost, high quality, high performing – Powered by Kodak! provider to the industry! Copper metal mesh rules.
New technology offering 100% pretested product.
Dell's got some interesting and nice looking XPS's coming out...
BTW, how do you like those numbers??? ehh?? AND we got the flexible electronic board manufacturing tech to go along with our sensors.. this is just the beginning!!!!!!!!!! Copperhead!

now go to eeblogs and read. "Cypress employs metal mesh for wearable touch .." last paragraph..
just another confirmation that metal mesh.. pixie included is ALREADY out there...
I mean the spat the faker caused, I've maintained we shipped already.. not form fully automated testing lines but the inventory we had ready manually tested.. initial run, follow on with even larger PO's sure to come soon.. cheers!
As I've posted before, any deal with Samsung would, of course, rocket the share price through the roof. I don't believe we will partner with Samsung, just my opinion - and one I would be happy to take all the way to the bank to be wrong on.. BUT if I'm right, and considering this "December 04, 2013, Samsung to Introduce Next-Gen Metal Mesh Displays in 2014"" It's great news for us no matter how it goes..
First - Just the fact that Sammy has recognized the value and importance of metal mesh is in it's self a great win for us, - just consider the pressure their competitor now face just knowing this simple fact..
Second - IF Sammy goes with their own technology - and I believe they will - where does that leave the rest of the world??? InTouch, Powered By Kodak, will be a great player.. and we really don't need much to make a world of difference to the company.. I believe we will max out manufacturing capacity for a couple of years to come,, we won't be able to build enough, fast enough, to meet total demand... our process is UNIQUE and the most cost effiencient out there we will be the most competitive....
Third... ain't got one right now.. just always told don' make a list out of two facts.. LOL... so much going on... can't keep up......
I like trying to see the trends before they become obvious.. and one thing that has bugged me for awhile, for the long timers you will remember when the big guessing game of just who our "Eco-System" partner is Reed gave examples such as a Google, Foxconn.. he was giving examples of what an Eco-System looked like not that it applied directly... but also later when asian interest was indicated "Foxcon" came up again.. so with that in mind and streaching like a yoga master consider this..
Foxconn Said to Target Wearables With New Startup Fund :..
""Syntrend Creative Park Co., a Foxconn unit, will administer the NT$200 million ($6.8 million) fund and select participants for a trial in the first quarter, the people said, asking not to be identified because the details aren’t public. Operations at the incubator, providing offices and advisory services for startups, will open by the end of next year to create wearable and connected technologies, the people said.
Foxconn is expanding beyond manufacturing devices for clients including Apple and Hewlett-Packard Co. as slowing sales and increased competition challenge founder Terry Gou’s target of 15 percent annual revenue growth. In June, the billionaire showed off a smartwatch the company is developing and in October it acquired licenses to offer fourth-generation wireless service in Taiwan.""
Copperhead... comes to mind.... now for the reaching relaxed lizard warrior pose... one thousand.. two.tw..thousand....... th..t hh ....reeeeee....... thousand....... to be continued..
Yeah, -- and this..it's been there for so long but no one, at least that I've seen here, has commented on it,, it is the image of a Uni-pixel sensor on a LCD screen.. there's a lot of competition going on right now in that space for the large formats.. I wonder if one of the "smaller" PO's going to Asia isn't a big screen with touch.. the dam will burst one day soon and the PR's on material events will start rolling as the Pixies stock recovers it's rightful - to the moon - projection......... o yeh..
and aahh... prototypes..... yep, nothing here boys and girls.. just a scam.... LOL!
Check out 7 Dec PDF download from Touch Gesture conference in San Antonio, TX..
UniPixel was founded to explore a new display
technology. however, that required film with five micron
structures and a four micron interwoven conductive
element. When the world’s leading film manufacturers
and printers couldn’t produce film smaller than 70
microns, we decided to make it ourselves.
136 patents later, the potential of our new film
technology eclipsed the display’s. We sold the
system-level display technology and set our sights
on a new goal: creating new possibilities through
nice updates to web site.. we are getting ready to roll people... hang on... LOL... really this time.. soon.. hang on! It's a'coming....
