All true bigpopabass but if these guys are gonna go down....their going down with their boots on and shooting every bullety in the chamber. I'm betting this pays huge down the road...time will tell
We get some May like volume in the coming days and the lid blows off....
Sounds great....has sounded great for the better part of 9 months but there's one problem fellas. GT hasn't sold one additional furnace for this industry and everybody knows there's nowhere near the needed capacity to even start servicing 1% of this screen market. It is what it is...
I think this will change but it's not starting anytime soon...
Excellent post leeabe....GTAT followers will be the first to know when these guys get serious about sapphire.
The Apple/Samsung manufacturers are not going to push this.....they need to turn new and better phones every 12months. Why use something thats going to increase the life and durability of new and existing models??
We need a third party to start a new business model selling screen covers....how's that screen cover holding up onphire?
Sancho Panza speaks.....Come on chelle get with the spirit
"One man scorned and covered with scars still strove with his last ounce of courage to reach the unreachable stars; and the world was better for this." -Don Quixote
Strike up the "The impossible Dream" Don Quixote wins in the end....changing a cynical world takes guts
Slight dip...49 million. GTAT and QE are very similar.....with interest rates/bond prices stable or GTAT volume/pricing flat their is no reason to ease or short more. As soon as the market starts dumping bonds or (buying/ pumping volume) on GTAT, the easing and shorting starts going dramatically north. Eventually they won't be able to print or short anymore....when we hit that point is anyones guess but I think that point will be reached way sooner for GTAT then Mr. Bernanke's printing press hiting critical mass. Time will tell.....
I want to hear about the Silicon Carbide furnances they introduced this qtr according to the slides...any traction, sales leads, etc
Come on.....what's your price??
I heard somebody is trying to unload a whole factory full of HiCZ equipment in St. Louis too....turnkey operation! Makes you think....
Let them as far as i'm concerned...the longs win big or the shorts do. I've made my call and I'm going to let time be the judge.
No worries...you'll be blown out of bed when they light this candle. I'm soooooo pysched for this Fall.
Yes chelle....but it's in the longs favor this time. Remember.....all swords cut both ways. It's our turn this time...
HELLO...there's a cabal of shorts keeping it down. It cost them 50mill to keep it down with Mays volume. They love low volume...short money to keep a lid on it.
We start seeing volume like May again and it's over for Piper and his crew...patience. It's all good for longs....their just adding more fuel to the eventual fire right now
Don't get this convertible thing....the stock was short roughly 35 million shares at time of issue of convertible offering. Has grown 15 mill since but I don't think all 25 mill is a hedge.
Lets look at this closely....the short position has moved up 19% during the month of May alone. Did these convertible owners just wake up in May and add 10million share as a hedge...I think not. The shorts have dumped an additional 40-50million dollars trying to control a big loss. Living in denial if you ask me. Time will tell...
I have no problem with shorting at all.......my problem is that shorts get to sell somebody else's shares and don't have to tell anybody about it for two weeks. If your trying to maintain a perfect market you need to disclose ALL information at the point of EXECUTION.....the SEC needs to close that loophole and can be done easily with todays technology. Their giving shorts an unfair advantage by letting them hide their trades for up to three weeks is crazy. However, I think this advantage is quickly turning into a minus with this stock...YEAH!!!
You know some fresh arbritrage money is going to take notice very soon and clobber these guys for a trade.....too easy
It's like these guys have a garden hose hooked up from their tail pipe to the window and are burying the accelarator.....
They can't stop this rocket.....lift off is very close now!
We'll be at $6 by Labor Day..
