Perhaps what you are feeling is real. As real as your mind makes it... There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.
It seems fairly clear after Serg Weinberg's comments Monday that this was looked at and was too expensive. I think for know Sanofi is cautious before buying and MNKD is cautious before selling. So, there is a lot of delay and strange lack of candidness on the goings on. Therefore the test drive with all the money from milestone sitting in time out till the deal is done.
I think by virtue of Al stepping down is his way of saying "no worries". All in good time.
Healthy ways should be a concern for everyone. Not just someone being held at détente over loosing there limbs eyes and other complications due to diabetes and given lesser treatment. There is something wrong with not healing someone and be in fear they will over indulge on food. I have not heard of people being refused coronary heart operation because they might go out afterwards and have a steak and shake.
I sense you are right but when insurance companies see they can save 10's of billions through better care(less ER trips and complications), this will be seen as cheap and almost a freebie.
I got to think this is large hedges and they are beating to a different drum than the trolls on this board. Probably vanguard, fidelity, blackrock hedging there long position.
from mnkd proboards on Brandicourt and inhale insulin:
I thought that Brandicourt had the rug pulled out from under his viewpoint on exubera by a Pfizer lawyer. He then left to go to Bayer over that. In April 2007 he had this to say, "Sales have been slower than expected," said Olivier Brandicourt, general manager for Pfizer's metabolic and cardiovascular division, which includes Exubera. "It takes time to educate the physician."
Ok, not sure about the pepper spray. Hopefully not the jumbos for Grizzlies. Sounds brutal. But even so, beats being on the receiving end of a 7.62 x 54.
Just saying perhaps management is not so happy about longs either. Lot of whining and were in on the class action a few years back.
At what price did Blackrock buy in again? I don't think they as a 5% owner are going along with the atm machine approach before getting vocal.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.. I knew of a GM that was gotten rid of in a corp coup. He lost out on his million bucks of options cause he never exercised a one. I guess he is still lamentating over that.
Hmm. Almost the cost of topsoil. Not counting the cost to ship it over the ocean. I wonder if I can order some over seas ore and have it delivered....
Hmm. ok. And frerstein and Martin Skreli are stand up mannkinders?
Perhaps you have a point considering shareholders carried out a class action lawsuit against Al.
Maybe it's like that George Strait song, "I hate everything"... :)
So far inside selling has not panned out for retail share holders no matter what paint we choose to cover it with... Hope they are secretly working on the big plan.
Perhaps he check the 10 year chart and saw the head & shoulders pattern and decided to sell some now before it possibly goes down? ;-)
Pre determined stock sales plan?? He has a great many shares. Converting some to cash and not having all your eggs in one basket is prudent.
