I am sorry everyone in the RDC got burnt! but
long investors will definately reap the profit. To me
RDC will come back 100% in 12 tp 24 months. Sir, I am
just responding to Palmer! Some people says that
2minutes wasn't enoug time but I think he could have sail
lot in two frikin minutes. So, why don't you admit
that he fluched up. Anyway I didn't mean to huyrt
anyone on this board. I just gave my opinion about
    Palmer mouth.

Than it was better to shut up! Not to say that he
sold everything to buy RDC. He would just say that he
is buying RDC at this level. Now the nose is grown
...he has to do some damage control immediately and do
some conference calling to elobrate what he was
actually saying. To me this message was not enough to get
a right picture. Rowan will run into financial
crisis if the price of oil does not go up or the 15 rigs
doesn't run. I think the first sign of RDC reccession
would the layoff of the workers walking 8 hours around
those 15 rigs. Your comment please!

Yes i heard him on CNBC. I don't know what he had
to sale to buy RDC. If he sold good stock to buy RDC
I have lost my trust for his ability to run RDC. I
don't know what his next dicision would be to split
stock at $5? this is just a joke! Seriously, his mouth
was running like Clinton and his nose was growing
    like Pinochio!

I think Mr. Palmer was very worries and chewing
all his answers. His interview with cnbc was not that
delightful or glrious. He did not say anything positive or
gave any signals that why he is buying RDC. If he
announces that RDC is buying its own stock wold have made
difference. IMHO RDC may see more downside to see, may be
those guys on this board gave their pridiction of $5.00
may be beleivable now. Some pridictors are feeling
that it may take 5 to 7 years before the oil market
repairs. Oil ananlyst from Jaffriess thinks it may be
short time than 5 to 7 years. Any way I like both ESV
and HAL they may turn around faster than RDC.

    Any thought?

Looking at the situation in Russia, and yet
devaluation of currencies in South America. I still see
atleast 20% to 25% dorp in price of the oil stock from
todays level. I am very bullish on long for oil stock. I
have been in the oild since 1973 Arab oil ambargo and
1984-86 glut and all I have seen is oil price goes higher
and higher as the population and demand grows. If you
are in hold it and if youare not in buy today don't
wait for 20-25% drop it may be for few hours. We all
don't know when, may be today or may be tommorow, but
after that it is all over. JUst hold it and get rich.
Day traders..keep your hands off oil..it is not for
    you guys.

Even if the oil price is down these companies are
not loosing money? May be the producaion rate is high
per barrel but tan they are producing more barrel to
make the difference, is not this true? Any which way
this companies under no circumstance will loose money.
IOM RDC will double in price if the oil price goes
$17 per barrel and it is forcasted that before the
    year end it will happen.

How about RDC? Highly recommended in the
Kipplinger magazine of August 98 at $21. Right now going
around $12? Any thought on this? If you studying PE's is
    RDC a good risk?

    Anyone Comment Please??

  • I hve self Directed IRA and on June 1, 98 I
bought 700 ICN for my wife in her account and 1250 in my
account @ $41.00. This was done when I was on the road
out of town. My discount brocker called my home and
left message with my 15 years old son, my son gave me
the message that my brocker called and she bought ICN
but did not gave me how many in each account. When
the mail came with the confirmation notice they
bought 700 for my wife and only 100 in my account both
@41.00. I called the brocker and she said that this is
    what I ordered.

Guy, I need some help I am so
sure that I ordered 1250 share in my account not 100
share. The price of the shares went up as much as 46 3/4
and closed last Fridat at 44.00. When I place buy
order my brocker at the end repeated my order and I
agreed and she placed an order. I need this shares at 41
as agreed and brocker needs proof. Some one please
help me, how can I obtain proofs..I am so sure about
my order. What should I ask my brocker to provide
me..anyone tell me is their phone recording of my order,
where and who has it? brocker says they don't record
any conversation all they have is confirmation on the
computer. Do I have any remedies or case here?

    Any
help will be appreciated. I made full research on ICN
from the various sources and I am very bullish on ICN
    $65 to $70 by December 98.

    I am new on this
board and would like to thank you all in advance and
    appologize for my English.

    Thank you

This stock was given to me as present in 1985 at around 14.50. I just kept it and it is just like souvenior to me several times I of disposing but I don't know why did not. I have learn market just few years ago and there are so many good stock in the market that I don,t care much about xico. I don't follow xico or have put any money in xico personally. I think xico is deadly sin stock I have learn to to to bigger and better stock.
Go GE, WMT, MO, SGP, MRK, SJK, ABT, JNJ, KO, GM, C, F, WDFC, WAG, and so on.....wait secon half of 1998 and you will see xico sellin at 1 to 1.50. I would buy xico here at 2 5/8 and cash in at 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 at momentum trading. Happy New Year.

I am sorry I have seen XICO going from !$.50 to nothing and came back. I see the same patern here again, I would have said
.50 but I thought let us all buy at $1.50. Next market correction you will se this stock trading between .50 to 1.50 range. And
the market correction is not far, I predict end of Q1 98 or beggening of Q2, 98. As you know that XICO will not show up as much
loss in 1Q and 2Q but I am sure the asian currency affect will take in the end of 2Q and that will also presure this stock to
tumble at that low level. My near term outlook is good 4 to 5 but it will take long befor it makes to that 9 level. Please argue
    you analysis.

you will be happy if you try cau at $1.00
xico is a very good company but the turning around is long, i would say that before breaking upward it will hit $1.50. Any comment?

Thanks but you misunderstood, How do you invest in indices, do you invest in various fund or you can buy like stock?
Are there anything like SPY depository reciept? I know vanguard has similar kind of fund you just buy and sell like stocks, do you know the symbol? Thanks, get ready for MOT for my $48 target buy price, it's getting there very soon.
