This is the new economy. We can print money and stimulate. Look at Japan - they are in debt at like 2 1/2 times their GDP - NO PROBLEM.......and things are booming there.

We saw all this coming. When Governments become huge, they always end up taking away fundamental liberties.

The French not only tax your income, but your assets...........so if you have a nice house and car, they tax that every year too.
They hit 100% because the conservatives were trying to battle a 75% income tax above 1 million euros...........so they applied a special levy based on assets so 8000 French paid over 100% (after deductions) to get back at those crazy conservatives.

After getting it stolen 3 times and burned once, I realized the open hate is out of control......

Funny to watch Libs proclaim that millionaires do not pay taxes.

If the city was burning like in 1967, Obama would be a hero today if he sent the troops in.
The problem is Johnson and the Great Society.
Rather than fixing the problems of the inner city, they threw money at it and walked away.
Like Chicago and other cities, Detroit was in bad shape after the riots.
Businesses and families started to leave the city.
Then the city elected a racist - anti-white, anti-business mayor - Coleman Young........he drove out most of the whites and businesses. Today there are no major grocery chains in the city.
Today the city is bankrupt.........the family unit has been destroyed because of the system promoting no marriage and $ for babies.......Children get up in the morning and never see an adult going to work..........a total society breakdown.

I live in the city.
a few months ago I drove my boss through some bad parts............we saw 2 houses on fire while neighbors stood and watched...........no fire trucks........he was shocked............I told him these are typically crack houses and the neighbors can't take it anymore so just burn them down........

You assume that people that bought gold are all whack jobs.
I quietly bought gold and silver between the early 90's and early 2000's...........had 5% of portfolio in it only because it was so cheap and an insurance policy against the dollar.
When it went up 5-600%, suddenly my portfolio was 20-25% gold so had to dump some.
Why are there all these anti- gold people ? Is it because you missed the boat ? I don't see anti - Apple people like I see anti-gold people.
Has to be jealousy because so many stuck on stocks didn't diversify properly ?
