Reductions in Force are occurring yet again and more IBMers are seeing their domestic jobs go to India where management thinjs that quality, cheap labor can be found. 5 were fired from the ATT account, jobs to India. This is a disaster known for years. You do not get good quality work from this place, but IBM thinks you can. Do not trust this firm anymore, and shareholders be careful, there is a crash coming. Revenue? More accounts will terminate contracts and ditch IBM.
Excellent logic garce, another intelligent post instead of #$%$ and spam. Steep indeed, perhaps too much given Ginny and the quest for ever reduced costs and salary expenses, stock buybacks and financial magic.
I was fired by CSC ages ago to make room for low cost Indian workers along with 140 others, but never have I seen someone so ANGRY as YOU ARE. What did they DO to YOU??? Do you own this board now?
Interesting thoughts garce, but the world is what it is and we have to deal with that sad fact. Akers was a true blue IBMer through and through and unable to escape the mindset of the firm back then. Remember FOILS??? Gerstner did some good, some bad but shook it up and he was lamely followed by Sammy and then Ginny. Downhill all the way since those two came in.
Memories - remember SNA??? AND OFFICE VISION?
Why don't you try writing in English. You know, ending a sentence. Using a period. Using Capital letters. Avoiding run on thoughts. It reads much easier that way. Frankly, I don't think you know what you are talking about.
If he continues this forever, as he is prone to do, then he has to be right sometime. He was a while ago but then it went above $13 and he still predicted $12 by Friday. Insane poster. Have seen one like him on any of these generally worthless boards ever.
Actually the private sector part should be easier to sell in theory as the public has all those nasty government contracts with a ton of security restrictions on them and NOBODY wants China to get their hands on those deals. But ... what private sector existsZ VF CORP is the last one to sign on with this POS company and that was over a year ago. No wins since that. Hmmmm, sales pipeline seems rather, eh, slim.
So this mega-merger is all a product of your own mind, your "independent thinking" as you say and not one other credible financial source anywhere is hinting at such an act. LIVE IN YOUR OWN PLANET my friend, you are not worth the shill that you are. COME UP WITH A SOURCE FOR REAL and you will have cred here. Other than that, LIVE IN YOUR FANTASY WORLD.
We have a moron who is insisting that Apple will buy out old Big Blue. Topguninvestor. Have some fun with this moron and comment therein. He has no source and it would benefit Apple shareholders at all.
Wonder how the $190 million dollar payment to the SEC for the destruction of the NHS contract is going to affect upgrades or such. Not good. Hardly an ethical company. Right, Jeremiah???
Did your work for you and one mention on May 8 that a merger would be great for IBM Shareholders, you.... but lousy for Apple shareholders. Since that seems so, AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN.
