Not too much selling interest today. Twice I placed AON orders for 10K right around the Asking price. No takers.
Does Level 2 quotes show the AON orders as well? Just wondering -- if someone can monitor this at 12:30 PM CST, let me know if you see any AON buy orders for 10K shares
Louis Navellier has given CRNT a total grade of "F". Not good folks.
That $10MM quarterly loss was about 7% of current market cap. Imagine if Google lost a similar percentage -- it would be a $25 Billion loss!!!
Maybe the future will be brighter for CRNT but base on current fundamentals, this is a sick puppy.
Fuji and I are enjoying ourselves with SPNS which closed up 5% today to a new 52 week high. I'm still quite long on CKSW , not sure about the apple grower tho.
I got a buy order in for 2K@5.99 aon so I'm ready to buy if there is a plunge in early trading on Friday
I managed to sell 5K around $6.70 in the 1st half hour. I was expecting it to drop like it eventually did but was surprised by the 1st half hour of trading when it actually went up in pps or stayed about the same pps as the previous day's closing price. Plus it was heavy volume. What was going on? Why didn't it drop immediately at the open instead of going up a bit?
Perhaps this is more precisely called a "follow-on" offering but my question remains. I guess I'm in the dark. on all of this.
"A follow-on offering (often but incorrectly called secondary offering) is an issuance of stock subsequent to the company's initial public offering. A follow-on offering can be either of two types (or a mixture of both): dilutive and non-dilutive. A secondary offering is an offering of securities by a shareholder of the company (as opposed to the company itself, which is a primary offering). A follow on offering is preceded by release of prospectus similar to IPO: a Follow-on Public Offer (FPO)."
Current pps is $6.50 on the open market so I'm wondering how I can buy shares from the secondary offering at $6.25?
Fuji, your optimism cup overfloweth :)
I think if you got a stain on one of your cherished shirts you would briefly acknowledge that it isn't the best thing to happen but then you would come up with several ways in which it may turn out for the good
a) opportunity to get noticed by others -- nothing quite grabs attention like a stain on an otherwise pristine shirt.
b) opportunity to wear another shirt instead
c) justification to buy a new shirt
Just being silly (kind of). keep writing.
From the annual report: "Our URL filtering services currently are only offered through a SDK integration, though the Company expects to release a cloud-based Web SaaS service during the second half of 2013"
Still waiting to hear about the release of this -- less than 2 months left in 2013. Seems like this could be significant if it competes with opendns.
can google this:

354 call options for 2013 Dec at strike of $10 were traded today. Last price was 5 cents.
Hmmm. according to my math, it is a $250,000 bet instead of a $20,000 bet. The current cost of each call option is 75 cents per share. Each contract represents 100 shares so that is $75 per contract. $75 times 3,331 contracts is $250,000
