Maybe that's why Arthur sold the RV business. They better be buying shares in the open market. I don't see the board being receptive. All's they would have to do is take it to share holders. The board only owns 18.3% now. Of coarse you need the support of Wells Fargo & Mario.
I agree for the most part. The company paid off the Gov't for the bribery debacle. The company might have to take a write off in Venezuela. Coty already has a venture with Avon so there's no hurry for a deal IMO. I think it's a speculative buy in this range however.
How Warren Buffett Would Cash In On Mobile Home Deregulation
Hmmmm! It better at least be book value now that the RV business was sold.
You failed to mention they aren't exactly very good commodity traders in coffee futures. However someone still needs to handle the wholesale market. A commodity is a commodity. IMO Nothing fancy about coffee unless you can market it for a premium. It took Farmer Brothers awhile to figure that out, going more branded. It looks like JVA is just trying to start that in a small way. Still, 100 mill in sales only trading at around 30 mil in market cap. IMO this leaves room for GMCR to take control of the supply chain or a Smuckers to eliminate a weak competitor. Either way one of us will be right and I have time to park some money here..
Yeah, and they only supply GMCR which Coke just validated. I've already made out with FARM awhile back. I think JVA is a buy here. IMO I sure think Sysco would like JVA in their fold. Most any family sells out for the right price. You just gave the perfect reasoning below in your post.
Run by family from second and third generation that care only for their own comfy lifestyle.
Well Encana choose. Encana to buy Athlon Energy in US$7.1-billion deal. I still think MCF is a target.
Lets hope it brings in enough to keep the blood flowing. IMO certainly a positive step.
What was the outcome of the LI battery airplane fire cause? Is Honeywell still using the ULBI LI airplane battery?
I'm so glad the board is looking out for shareholders. Two big block sold on down ticks. Maybe be they got tired of waiting for a turnaround. Who bought em? Over two million shares didn't vote at all. That tells you something.
You mean a buyout. You must have a ton of time on your hands to log into different computer to recommend your posts 10 times (LOL)
Will other circuit board makers consolidate to eliminate weaker competitors and increase margins?
After reading the paper work for the tender. It seems the boards excuses for their past failures are their biggest reason for supporting the bid. Two years ago the stock traded in the fives without a Takeout. What"s the company worth in a liquidation? Over 5 dollar book value.
Hurd the New Oracle CEO. Will he want to make an Acquisition soon? Or will Meg step in and show she can integrate better? SAP already made their move. Is IBM tired of buying back stock? EMC?
