Brand identity is a problem IMO. IMO exactly why they need to partner with Kodak, and have a Kodak name on them for the masses someday. It would be something if the partner who is yet to be named was Kodak?. The brand is widely known and Iconic. Also in Rochester NY. They also have in town, if they could be had, to help market them. Lou Graham of Foreigner- Double vision (pun intended) Abby Wambach-World class women's soccer player. The ideas may never happen, but I have to consider the possibilities.
Although not an apple to apples comparison. It's not like Vuzix is selling the Chevy Volt. It's more of a Tesla. Yes, they need a capital infusion, but IMO they have to stick with a emerging niches they can build on at first. IMO there not ready for the masses yes. Let Google have it till Vuzix gets a paying Funding partner. I don't know Paul, but he seems the Lee Iacocca type, and not the John DeLorean type. He certainly has vision like both. Paul can't get Go'vt help like Lee did. Do you think he can get another round of funding or a paying developmental partner?
I think this is your point?
Nokia originally developed the technology and licensed it to Vuzix, which integrated it with its own Waveguide technology.
Since Microsoft is just about ready to close it's deal to purchase Nokia's handset business.
Sunday's press doesn't elaborate on what kind of projects.
Microsoft's OK with Nokia using Android. Kind of
Microsoft expressed its support for Nokia's efforts, although noting it was "less excited" about some projects than others.
Your statement- I'm sure he only took the position if he sees a bright future for IEC. Ok, I'll go along with that, but Lets not forget. I'm sure there some in it for him to. I'm guessing, like a bunch of 0 strike options. Just as long as progress is made leading to a higher stock price for shareholders. Being a shareholder myself. I only want to see granted options based on measured performance like return on equity. The company might had been hoodwinked on the CB operation, but if that's the case the company should be able to recover funds of those who received them? Maybe they already are?
P.S The future of drones look bright Recent LMT AVAV deal. NOC has quite a program also.

IMO-That's why they need to pick up the pace in selling farm equipment & buildings overseas. BTW- I believe their diversified even more now. Scientific buildings & the newest acquisition. How are tanks going to keep the lights on? I believe there only marginally profitable and should be sold to a larger player who could integrate the business better.
P.S. The Farm Bill passed
The nation’s sugar program, which guarantees prices, limits imports and allows sugar producers to repay government loans with sugar if prices fall below established limits, survived unscathed after millions of dollars in lobbying and political contributions by the sugar producers.
Minnesota is the nation’s largest sugar beet producer, and much of the money spent to lobby for the sugar program came from Moorhead-based American Crystal Sugar.
There are no #$%$urances, and I am a shareholder. That's why most every company has their legal dept draw up a cover your #$%$ disclosure as it relate to forward guidance. IMO this company needs defense orders for any meaningful significant growth and profitability.. The current business model was forces upon them due to defense cut/ sequester and defense budget cuts. Lets hope Harris & Other defense companies can get some orders subcontracted to ULBI this year. The saving grace here. The insiders have their money at risk. They've brought the company to be somewhat profitable on a lower sales level. If the company starts receiving some defense orders of size. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mike POPIELEC take this private.
A small fry for the Icahn team? But hey, there constantly looking for companies to break up. This company is already broken. IMO someone will be coming to pick up the pieces. This before they blow all their cash trying to build value for us shareholders! IMO Hypothetically a no brainier for the Icahn team.
This company's stock symbol should be on the radar screens today. At the very least, on the gainers list. CNVR what you going to do when the shorts cover for you? Those bad boys!
I agree with the buy sentiment. IMO Plenty of speculative appeal to go with that. I however at this time, am NOT going to write calls against my long position. FWIW SAP did say they are looking for a big acquisition. Rumors Meg will be loosing Dave Donatelli soon? If that's true, it will be interesting to see where he ends up. Mr. Hurd at ORCL must know this company like the back of his hand. Takeover rumors have died down now. Current price IMO verifies that to a degree. Just the way I like my re-entry here. IMO-Just a matter of time before they begin again. Slower growth here equals competition elimination.
Nice little 5% move today so far. If it holds. No news that I saw. However four 50,000 + blocks on upticks.
I'll guess short interest dropped after the earnings release. The computer traders had software trouble that day. Grin :+ )
buying Autonomy. Meg what a mess he left you. Who will come knocking first? More likely SAP over Avon.
I wholeheartedly agree. It seems an easy breakup for a hedge-fund. IMO Facebook seem logical for Classmates and related. IDT for the phone business. One of the big ad companies for the rest? Hypothetically, I'd be happy with 13.40 now that the dividend was cut.
You mean Welcome Hedge funds, Welcome activists. Plenty of PO big holders who took a dividend cut and will question UNTD's business model.
That say revenue guidance is disappointing , but hey, it's still growing. All the more reason for Larry Ellison to go shopping for Mark Hurd. Everybody wants a piece of the crowded cloud. IMO consolidation is needed before competitive pressures crush past margins sitting on cloud 9.
Why ask a question you already know the answer to? FWIW- Just look at a takeover playbook.
A rebirth-Name change. Conversant, and logo were chosen to highlight the company’s ability to generate engagement around digital ads. RE:Cisco-U.S. mobile data traffic to jump nearly eight-fold by 2018: Cisco. The brick and mortar blue light special is dieing slowly. Right Amazon! Big box mobile ads will grow -Target knows this and so does the new CNVR. Search wants domination. So do big ad agency's. They must build to play-That's why rebuttal?
Volume to low for that. It was nice to see it up on a 300 point down day, however. Volume has been good the last to two days in a row. Let see if it continues today. Nothing significant yet as of 10:30
Back to normal volume today. Maybe Mario doing some more window dressing yesterday? A few small blocks a 7000+ down tick and a couple 5000 one up one down tick. Warren just bear hug this company.
