MEP increased distribution 1.5% from last quarter and I have to say I am relieved. Most of the MS companies have announced increases which many are surprised at. But hey, the market has not figured out that all MLP are not the same. Midstream companies are a lot different than Upstream and Nat gas is different than crude oil. I may pick up even more of MEP as the price is so low. Give them 6 months and the price will be above $15.

I agree with REIT GURU. Not only should the dividend remain safe, but it should grow in 2015 and beyond. I have to believe what MEP and parent say as they know the industry and have been aware of the downturn in prices and felt confident enough to make these predictions.

Does anyone know the breakdown between revenue from NG compression vs Oil compression? The greater the % of revenue from NG compression the better off USAC should be.

    Sentiment: Hold

I talked to Bill Smalley, the President of ETF Issuer Solutions, and he advised:

It is our expectation that the first distribution will happen in January. We will be officially announcing the 2015 distribution schedule later this month.

I think the only reason AMZA has not done that well is because there is no news. If AMZA would report dividend news it would really help. From what I can see, 28 companies on their list have now reported dividends for 3 quarter and 24 have increased dividends and 4 have left them the same as 2nd quarter. That is very good news and should mean that AMZA dividend should be good. If they have owned the 31 companies long enough, the yield should be 8% or more.
